I know they’re not a great place to get a good cut and their prices have gone up from $14/cut to $19/cut over the last few years. Anyways, looked up this place and figure anyone that can stay in business with their own barbershop for several years with good reviews should be worth a try. Went today and found the owner friendly and knew his stuff. I didn’t need any special cut, just wanted to shorten everything up and fix some of the gaffs the GC stylist left for me. It’s barely more than Great Clips and twice the quality. Support local barbershops – they’re worth a couple extra bucks and they’ll remember your cut after you’ve been a few times instead of having to always tell a new stylist at a franchised location what you need done. Nice barbershop run by a friendly owner. I had been reluctantly going to Great Clips nearby since moving to Marysville. I know they’re not a great place to get a good cut and their prices have gone up from $14/cut to $19/cut over the last few years. I have never had my hair cut by Jay, but Joel is my go-to barber. Getting an appointment is fast and easy through text, he’s very reliable, and the haircut always looks great. Sometimes I’ll have him trim up my beard, and it always looks far better than when I do it myself. If Joel ever goes to another shop, I will follow him there.

Joel was detail oriented, communicated ideas, and made me comfortable enough to nearly fall asleep in his chair. I went in to perfect an undercut and he exceeded my expectations.
