This place has been here since the 70s, and the current barber has been cutting hair here for about six years he said. The price is still reasonable at $22, but keep in mind that it’s cash only. Walk ins are welcome, but you can also call and make an appointment, which is probably the better way. Last but not least, the actual hair cut was very good!!! He asked me how I wanted it done, and I could tell he wasn’t taking anything I said for granted, but really wanted to provide the haircut I wanted. Very nice place.

Insanely quick simple scissor cut. No jibber jabber just a 10 minute haircut for the cheapest price around. Definitely call and make an appointment the day of the haircut. Probably you will speak to his 10 to 12 year old son who makes the appointment but is really responsible about it. There is only one barber, but he can definitely handle five to six clients an hour from what I can tell and is that busy at peak times.

I am ver pleased with my hair cut in Jay’s border shop. The barber is very quite man and that is the only thing that it was off. I grew up in Mexico and been in the US for over 50 years and all the barbershop that I have frequent where lound with many people taking. Since there was no one there other than me and the barber, I made conversation and he open up and was very pleasant. I will go back to this barbershop.

Good barbers and super friendly. Walk-ins are fine but better to make an appointment as they are usually always busy. This would be a 4 star joint if not for the cash-only high price of a haircut. Take a $20 bill when you go because that’s what it will cost (too much, IMO, for a 10min haircut).

It’s fast and cheap and the quality matches that. Jay isn’t particularly friendly and doesn’t really try to chat but for $17 it’s definitely the cheapest option in the area.
