I’ve used this location several times with minimal issues but today was the absolute worst. I booked a session for a full foil, then I get there the receptionist says I booked it wrong and it was a partial and because I was less than 15 min late threatened to cancel my appointment but oh get this- out of the goodness of there heart, can do a “flash”. What the heck is that about?!? Then to top it off, proceeds to argue with me that a full foil takes just as much time as a partial – which is bull since they always say they can only do a partial due to time and not a full.

I visited this salon today. I have been to quite a few other places and felt their level of service was great, but this took customer service to another level. I can only describe it as an experience. Jenn was my stylist and performed a corrective cut. She was able to fix a lot of mistakes from a previous cut and managed to not have to cut off all of my hair. The experience was certainly elevated at the shampoo bowl. It was more like a scalp massage. She even gave me a hot towel treatment and a hand massage. I was so happy that upon leaving, for the first time in my life, I booked my next appointment before I left. I highly recommend this beautiful salon and you should absolutely request Jenn.

Jen who just started working there yesterday has been my stylist for over a year. She does a phenomenal job on the coloring, the cut (which is not an easy one) and also on my eyebrows for which I receive compliments all of the time. As for the salon, I love the atmosphere and the chairs are really comfy. I rate both Jay Andrews Salon & Spa and Jen both at 5 stars.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueThis is to Hathir Pfau, i usually don’t like to respond to reviews, but I WAS one of the five stylist that had LEFT Jay Andrews during the pandemic. It is absolutely untrue that our boss would go on a firing spree for such reasons as a LinkedIn account. 4 of us left because of personal reasons and/or the pandemic, however one stylist was let go because she was not complying to the rules and binding agreements that she signed at the beginning of her employment! Being a stylist at Jay Andrews and pursuing a “side gig” at another salon would be a violation to the non compete we all graciously signed! I did leave, but I will be going back because I’ve been vaccinated. Connie isn’t to blame for any of the stylists who left! Another great salon experience with Jenn at Jay Andrews in Morrisville. Jenn is always on point and I honestly just let her do what she thinks is best to my hair- and I always love it! The salon is chic and stylish. Booked again in 5 weeks!

Came in yesterday for full color, cut, and waxing. Jennifer did an amazing job on my cut and color. However, Amy did a terrible job waxing and had poor customer service. She made rude, sarcastic comments and was not friendly. She was in such a rush. I wanted to cry about how horrible my eyebrows turned out. I ended up trying to tweez them myself today. I’ve never had a poor waxing experience at Aveda until now. I’m never allowing anyone else to do my waxing except Chelsey at the Apex location. She’s incredible and cares enough to take her time. Wish I would’ve saved the waxing tip as an extra tip for Jennifer.

Rika did an amazing job on my hair! I got full highlights and a hair cut and I walked out feeling more confident than ever! She is very informative, accommodates her clients’ wishes with their hair, and her end goal is to achieve beautiful and healthy hair and she did just that! If you have not seen Jenn yet you need to do so IMMEDIATELY. Seriously, there is nothing this girl can’t do from color to cut to makeup, the whole 9. She can take one person and seriously make them look like a gorgeous natural blonde, and then the next will be an insanely amazing edgey haircut with amazing designs! There is seriously nothing she can’t do. The biggest mistake you could ever make is not requesting her, no joke. Her precision is immaculate, always professional, basically spoils you so you have the best experience possible. She takes her time and won’t let you leave till you are absolutely perfect. Not only is it such a pleasure to relax and get my hair done but I have followed her now from 3 salons because I won’t let anyone ever touch my hair but her! From the super cool, edgey salon, to her massage and facial treatments you walk out of there floating on air. Do yourself a HUGE favor and treat yourself! Seriously! I promise you won’t regret it.
