Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueAVOID THIS HAIR SALON !! No stars for me! Culture Vulture! I WAS ALSO TOLD THAT THIS SALON WAS SOLD TO HER. Meaning she most likely did not change the name of the salon. My grandma who use to go to this salon had told me the owner had sold it. PS. I didn’t consult w.my grandma before going.— which is the only reason why i even took the time In trying it out.HERE IS A SNEAK PEEP OF WHAT THR OWNER SAID ALONG WITH HOW SHE TREATED ME IN SHORT. This place is not serviced by a true Dominican . The only lady that works there who is Dominican is a lady who does not even own the salon and is working for a Caucasian lady who does not know how to lay down my curly natural hair.This salon is over priced for work ethics that do not even show worthy of paying.. just for a wash she was charging $25 . That did not include roller set or blower .I’d like to also express the interaction I had with the owner; was very unprofessional. She spoke to me with such a negative demeanor and was not understanding nor apologetic about her false advertisement. According to the owner, Jasmine is her daughter and she is married to a Dominican man . I do not agree with the fact that she is using my cultural background to advance herself with customers and fooling those who do not know what a true Dominican hair salon experience looks like. I love this place and I will go back, possibly with my Mom because the atmosphere is clean and welcoming. Heather is attentive and concerned with hair growth and her customers.
