Positive: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI was looking last minute to get my hair braided and most places had a month or more wait. I called this shop and the woman was able to fit me in the next evening. I got to the shop a little early and they were working on two other ladies. I waited about an hour before it was my turn. The woman who did my hair was extremely nice and a fast braider. It took her less than an hour for my style and it was beautiful and not too tight. It was also a fair price. I would recommend them and I would go back. I was looking last minute to get my hair braided and most places had a month or more wait. I called this shop and the woman was able to fit me in the next evening. I got to the shop a little early and they were working on two other ladies. I waited about an hour before it was my turn. The woman who did my hair was extremely nice and a fast braider. Critical: PunctualityI’ve been to this place twice before today, I love the work they do. However, I called and made an appointment for 9:30 this morning, I showed up right after someone else had walked in. I was actually about 10 minutes early. I told her i hade an appointment then sat down and waited. Jasmine already had someone in the chair, then it was me and the other girl. So my first thought was did this other person have an appointment too and if so why was our appointment at the same time with only 1 person working. So about 20 minutes later another braider showed up and started on the other person. So again I’m thinking it’s now 20 minutes after my appointment time, and I didn’t have time to wait until either one of them was done. So I left. I got lucky and a African braiding place up the street had an opening. I just didn’t appreciate my time being waisted. I could’ve still been at home with my child, who was being watched by my parents until they were actually ready to do my hair. I’ve been to this place twice before today, I love the work they do. However, I called and made an appointment for 9:30 this morning, I showed up right after someone else had walked in. Positive: Professionalism, QualityI went to this salon today to get my first full head of box braids… it was finding it difficult to find a stylist that didnt mind doing box braids on caucasian hair, but Jasmine seemed to have no problem at all with it!She was amazing, and it only took her 4-4.5 hours to do them! My appointment was at 10, I was out by 2:30 even with a break to go pick up more braiding hair!If I decide to get my braids redone, I will certainly be calling Jasmine again!
