Positive: QualityMy experience with Taka-San has been nothing but great! I scheduled with him first 6 months ago with a. Vision for my hair as I wanted to grow my back out and perm it. He lined me up that day in preparation for the cut. It grew in very well albeit extremely straight as my hair has always been. I went to get a cut and perm yesterday to complete my haircut.I have a 3/4 undercut hairstyle and he followed it precisely. Although the fade on my side has been done better at Barber shops, his specialty in texturizing and cutting longer mens hair is top notch. I am so happy to have this haircut and am extremely happy with the final product.The haircut and perm was $210, which is about market value for the service. For Taka-sans hospitality and ability to converse with me in my native language is extremely valuable to me.I highly recommend him to anyone who has hair similar to me, thick, straight hair, medium length. (Before he was constantly trying other Asian hairstylist, until he got his satisfied hairstyle from Taka).I did my haircut and permed my hair here, and I’m super satisfied with the hairstyle! It is one of the best perm style I’ve ever got! Also, Taka is super nice, not only his technique, but also his attitude towards hairstyling — very delicate and paying to details! Critical: Quality, ValueDid not come to the first time of our appointment after I had walked 30 minutes and waited 30 minutes there. Then he just simply did not give me the haircut I wanted, even with references. I asked for a wolf cut, but he just simply cut it really short on the sides, and even the back short.Super super disappointing after everything, and honestly pretty gross that I went through all that and paid 65$ for something I didn’t even want just because of his own opinions in styling. I love his style; he always gives me a beautiful cut. He spends a lot of time and care and gives great shampoos and massage. Highly recommended!
