Be sure to ask for specific prices before you do anything! When I asked why I was charged for all different “services” – they didn’t back to me for a months and then went around a in circlessssss finding excuses, and back and fourth phone calls, then coming back and blaming it on me. And then they said something like “we understand if you need to wait to get your hair fixed because it’s pricy”.. i was like omg, how they can say that, thank goodness money has never been an issue, but I found it incredibly rude and a way a way to undermine their clients, who was looking for a solution. Stillwater has a ton of salons- I would highly recommend looking into other ones.

I have seen Kari W for almost 4 years and while she was on maternity leave, I saw Jamie in her absence twice. Kari is amazing and I have personally known her for 20 years. Jamie is just as amazing and professional, it was an easy transition to be able to completely trust another stylist.Nicole helped do my bridesmaids hair for my wedding and they were all very pleased with her work as well. I would trust anyone at this salon, they are well trained and do high quality work. I have seen Kari W for almost 4 years and while she was on maternity leave, I saw Jamie in her absence twice. Kari is amazing and I have personally known her for 20 years. Jamie is just as amazing and professional, it was an easy transition to be able to completely trust another stylist.

I have been searching for a new salon since moving almost a year ago. I had a fantastic experience with Erin at Japa Salon. The appointment process is seamless. Everyone was upbeat and friendly without being fake, professional and not snooty. The overall feel of the salon in up to date and slightly edgy. Loved this! Erin was attentive to providing a great experience. I felt that she listened to my ideas and hopes for what I wanted for my hair. I left feeling great. I’m so glad I found this place!

Coming in from out of state, it was difficult to find a place during Covid and on a Sat. I called Japa and from the minute I spoke to the receptionist, Megan, it was a fantastic experience. She squeezed me in on the schedule but it would have made me extremely close to getting to the wedding on time. She called back and got me an earlier time, quite impressive follow through. My hair was done exactly how I wanted it by Grace who was also just amazing in every way. She changed her schedule around without knowing me, just my situation. If I lived here, this would be where I would go. Due to health issues, it is very painful to blow dry and curl/flat iron my hair. Coming in from out of state, it was difficult to find a place during Covid and on a Sat. I called Japa and from the minute I spoke to the receptionist, Megan, it was a fantastic experience. She squeezed me in on the schedule but it would have made me extremely close to getting to the wedding on time. She called back and got me an earlier time, quite impressive follow through.
