The quality of their braiding is great, I don’t take that away from them. But I sent pictures and brought my own hair for both my girls and asked Before their appointment several times “how much would they charge me”. The answer I got was $160 and $180. When I arrive the individual I texted about pricing was not there and 2 other ladies started on my girls hair. They both handed my daughters a comb telling them to “comb their hair”…I was like why do they need to comb their hair, I mean isn’t that what I’m paying you all for? So i had to get up and help my kid comb out her hair while in the hair salon…smh. That was my 1st issue…they proceed to braid and mind you I was quoted the prices above. When they finished with my girls hair, they proceed to tell me that now it’s $180 and $180. But no one informed me of the price change while they were doing my girls heads, so imagine my confusion. So apparently the hair that I brought in was the reason for the price change something that should have been communicated to me prior to their completion of my daughters hair. They just need to do a better job of communicating with each other and their customers, because simple communication goes a long way. The prices I was quoted before were fake and they changed the prices as they were braiding….this is not fair to the customer and the reason why I will not be back to this facility. Good luck to those that still choose to pay money here.

I’ve been getting my braids done at this business for almost 3 years & they never disappoint! The quality of their work is amazing & they listen to every style & detail that your asking for! My color consisted of 4 different kinds to achieve this vivid look & I absolutely LOVE how it came out! I cannot wait to go back to achieve another bolder look!✨

I love the way they braid. I got small single braids that are consistently uniformed. They look great, feel great and even when 3 people braid my hair you wouldn’t be able to tell who did wha? It took only a few hours. I had half a day and my whole evening. Lastly, the price was good for my budget. I am a fan.

They did a great job I love my hair but my friend said they almost always have two people working on her hair. They only had one person working on mine the majority of the time. I got there right at 8:00 a.m. for my appointment. I was sitting there doing nothing until at least 8:30 while they started on others and then they asked me to comb out my hair. Then the girl still had to pull the hair colors I wanted as they don’t use pre-pulled hair so they didn’t even get started until almost 9:00. I left there at 6:00 p.m. I was the last person to leave. At about 2:00 p.m. I asked him how much longer and I said at least three more hours so I asked them if I could go find something to eat and they agreed. At least they were nice about that as well.

I scheduled for twist and wanted it to start with twist. All confirmed and repeated to me before I got there by Esther. The lady that started my hair did two rows but started with a braid. Esther came in and caught it. The lady removed two rows of braid/twist even though I made it clear what I wanted. Wasted time. Another time, they had 4 people doing my daughter’s hair and I requested a part in the middle and it was off tremendously. They acknowledged the mistake to my daughter, and never corrected it before I arrived or at all.This happened on two separate visits. I asked for a compensation of $20.00 on my next visit. The owner Esther said, she had to call me back. She never called. When I called her several times, after ignoring my calls, she said, they don’t want to do my hair because I’m too picky. They also braid too tight and pull your hair. I had them put twists in my hair using the hair I buy. Now they refuse to do my hair because I said something about their mistake on my daughter’s hair. Twice! I get excuses like, the lady is out of town, Esther will call me when the braider comes back. No call. Or, they won’t use the hair I bring, to twist. However, they did prior. Last time I waited for a return call, no call. So, I popped in to show Esther basic braids going down, with 2 rows. She told me they couldn’t do it and the lady that did my twist only does single braids. (individuals) Also, I asked for change, they said, they didn’t have it. I had just seen them exchange money several times which was why I asked. The kicker is, I was trying to tip them. 4 people said no. I finally got one lady that said yes, after she spoke to everyone working there, in their language, before she gave it to me. Wow! Too many lies and I’m to blame for their 3 mistakes. Poor customer service and dishonesty.

Even though I was a lil late for my appt they were ready to start as soon as I arrived. 2 people worked on my hair and were very professional(no talking on phone, asked if it was too tight and showed me the size of my twists before continuing to make sure I was okay with it). Needless to say my twists came out real nice. I’m already getting compliments.

This was my first time in this salon… the only reason i give 5 stars is because of my braider Esther.. she is the best braider ive ever had… I’ve been getting my hair braided for over 35 years… if i ever have a photo shoot…Esther will do my hair

Asks me to come in at 10am for cornrows appt. when I arrive says my hair is too short although I had it done 3 months earlier just fine. Just beware of wasting your time.
