Positive: Communication, Professionalism, QualityI don’t go get work from Jamie enough! I’m writing this, wondering exactly why that is. But first off and full disclosure:I am a bodyworker myself, so finding a passionate, professional massage therapist and bodyworker who’s all-in–to say nothing of finding a competent one!–is an experience I seldom have enough of. I mean to say that, as in all professions, there are people who do work to make ends meet, and then there are people who were born to do what they do. People who’s offerings to the world you can just relax into, knowing that you are in the best hands.When Jamie works with me, it’s easy to bend my therapist mind to what precisely she’s doing with her hands, her ample technique, and her obvious wisdom and experience. But I don’t. She somehow finds a way, in virtually every moment she’s with me, to quietly fold all of these qualities into hands-work that seems to bubble out of her soul, leaving me in the liminal healing space I too often crave, and here get to enjoy in abundance! In short: her work is flawless, seamless.I always feel refreshed and without pain, when I leave her beautiful office space. I feel more in tune with my own body, and I seem to always have a sense within myself that I know how to be even better. Her hands teach that (not surprising, as she’s a teacher of massage and herbal therapies, too). And I think the best thing I can say about her, is that, when I finally went to work with Jamie, I felt like I did 17 years ago, when I used to get work from my old teachers back at the Florida School of Massage; not many people seem to offer sessions like that anymore.Anyway, go see Jamie!
