I have been a patient of Dr. Reagan and her Associates and Staff for several years. They have all been kind, patient, responsible and professional. When I leave their office after an appointment, I feel secure in the fact that my rxaminatin was thorough and I was well taken care of.

An absolute trash can of an establishment. My wife went here for something minor, which was covered under insurance.. or so we were told. That turned into needing a minor surgery, which again (we should have known better) was supposed to be mostly covered under insurance. It was not covered at all. The communication was terrible here from the doctor all the way to the ladies who think they know everything at the front. I would love to give this place a 0 rating and warn of our awful experience here. My wife’s scar from her procedure also did not heal correctly, so we are seeking another place entirely. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HEADACHE OF A PLACE.

We experienced terrible service by the doctor and the staff. The doctor prescribed 3 rounds of antibiotics and spent no time seriously considering other routes until visit #6!! The appointments lasted only 10 minutes but charged us hundreds of dollars. And it still hasn’t resolved my acne issue and now I have immense scarring that is irreparable. When asked to address the scarring, she said to wait. Well it’s too late now. The doctor is clearly unqualified and rude. Our experience has been absolutely terrible and we will be going to another dermatologist.

I was shocked when I entered the medical office and found the receptionist staff were not wearing masks. I was further shocked when my dermatologist entered the patient room without a mask. Aside from the complete lack of regard of a patient’s safety, to say I was appalled a physician would not be exercising basic public health safety is an understatement. Chesterfield County and Hanover County are both in HIGH community level spread. To my knowledge, the federal requirement of masking in healthcare settings has not changed, which includes a dermatology medical office. My entire family have been patients of James River for years, but I cannot say I have any confidence in the practice going forward. It is our job as citizens to protect each other and slow down spread, but when members of the healthcare community can’t be relied upon to do so, what does that say about basic public health?

After asking for more information about results doctor changes info from first time we ask. Doctor could have handle this better, at least help calm my wife down with the news and not leave her in tears. Please record any results and get it in writing.

Have gone here for years, as have both my daughters. Very friendly, always feel well taken care of. Also, this is the most efficient doctor’s office I have ever been to, very little waiting around. Highly recommend.

Rating is based on the terrible reception staff as I never actually got to see a doctor. It took almost 3 months to get an appointment. When I got there they said I had missed it. Apparently I was given the wrong time by the initial scheduler. The receptionist was extremely rude and condescending and told me I would have to wait until December. Not even worth it. Finding another office that has competent staff.

I was nervous coming in for my first appointment because I really haven’t had good experiences with dermatologists in the past. And I was definitely nervous after seeing some of the reviews. But I took a chance. And I’m very glad I did. Everyone was very kind and professional. Lauren Shutt is who I saw and she was beyond helpful in helping me figure out a condition I’ve had for a very long time. I actually felt bad for her because she’s pregnant and still working. But she couldn’t have been more pleasant and patient with me. I’m very pleased with my experience.

I have been going to the practice for years for skin screenings and have never once seen a doctor. I see nurse practitioner they have all been nice and helpful with any concerns. I feel confident they are giving me good professional care. However it would be nice to at least meet the doctor in the practice. Overall good practice.
