JGS Venice is a full service salon that offers hair color, cutting, styling, extensions, nail services and minor waxing. Located in the heart of downtown Venice, JGS opened their first location back in 1988 with only a handful of employees. Now 30 years later, a second story and around 50 employees at this one location alone, JGS Venice is the biggest location and there are always exciting things going on. This is also where all 3 of our locations gather for exclusive in-house training and education.

My hairdresser Amy was amazing! My dad and I went together to donate our hair and they really made it such a special experience for us. They did a beautiful job of prepping and cutting our hair and were kind enough to help us capture the moment by taking pics for us. From beginning to end a very easy and fun experience. My hairstylist moved to another state and hence I have been in search of a replacement hair stylist. I tried several hair salons, yes, but I am happiest with James Griffith Salon of Venice. My hairstylist is Amanda and she DID a GREAT job. I finally got the hairstyle that I always wanted. Amanda is meticulous, not rushing, and knows her hair business. Alleluia! BTW, this is a very cool hair salon, clean and spacious.

I was refused services because they indicated that they did not do a bleach out. I moved from the area over a year ago and wanted to come back and have the same quality services I have had in the past. Apparently the quality has changed. The front desk ladies were very nice but the stylist Hayley was incredibly rude. I will never have see i es at James Griffith Salón in Venice again. I will not recommend them as well. So sad to see such a great salon go downhill.

Soooo so happy with my visit here! Everyone was so friendly and they have great teamwork. The salon is clean and welcoming. I went to Hailee Luke and she is amazing! She gave me a fantastic haircut, she was very thorough and spent a lot of time making sure it was even which I loved. She was friendly the whole appointment and colored my hair beautifully. I’ll definitely be going back!
