I went here and had an appointment with the owner. I told him exactly what I wanted as a cut and he says, “I’ll clean you up” and proceeds to give me a standard haircut which is not what I asked for. It was uneven and looked weird.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityNice clean shop, staff was friendly but they only take cash. I had my two and 4 year old and had to leave and come back after haircuts to go to the atm across the street (which charged $4). It’s 2021 – there’s no reason not to take cards. Huge inconvenience. Also the shop is not stroller accessible- two doors and a tiny vestibule and it very difficult for me with my little ones. Lastly their necks were all red and nicked up. I’ve been going to James for over 10 years. I go out of my way to continue using him because I trust him 100%. He’s very personable and makes appointments so you don’t waste more time than you need to. If you need a cut that couldn’t be planned he has employees that can take care of you as a walk in who are also great. The shop is beautiful and has convenient and safe location in the heart of Babylon a few blocks from the train station. Would recommend to all my closest friends and family!

Recently started using James Anthony for me and my 3 sons haircuts. All 3 barbers have cut our hair, and all 3 are awesome. The option to make appointments is very helpful and convenient when the 4 of us go there. Usually if there’s no wait, we’re in and out in less than 30 minutes for all 4 of us.

Been going to James Anthony’s for nearly a decade and won’t be going anywhere else soon. Appointments make it easy and if I need to walk in he’s got 2 other barbers there. Don’t go anywhere else. Beautiful location, always clean!
