DONT GO HERE- 2022/ Barbershop is very bad. I went to the only black barber in there to feel a sense of connection with the barber because I am african american and trusted him with doing my hair. I asked for a fade, and he cut a bald spot in my hair. he didn’t have the audacity to even tell me he left a bald spot before leaving. he told me multiple times he was professional. DONT GO HERE

I have been going to Jajo’s for years and have never had a bad experience. Great service! They do an amazing high, tight skin fade. Jason is always so friendly and accommodating. I‘ve been coming here since I moved to DC in 2018 because Von is incredibly talented and a very nice guy. Unfortunately, the place is run by a tyrant who is rude to customers and especially to the employees. I tolerated it because the haircut was a great price and Von was so good at what he does. However, I can’t justify supporting this place anymore. Wish the best to you Von!

I lived in DC for 3 years and have been looking for a consistent Barber that I can trust and is affordable. Most DC prices are expensive, and the cuts are mediocre. This place has a good balance of value and I get a nice fade that is better than Whiskey and Barber which charges more than $40. The avg hair cut here is about $25-$30. Nice, clean place in the Eastern Market area. Amy did a nice job with my son’s hair. She was very careful and gentle. She worked quick and efficient, but not rushed at all. Very nice staff. There are different rooms/spaces so we perfectly socially distanced lol.

I am very particular about my haircuts, and without a single doubt in my mind, JAJO’s is the BEST barbershop in DC. This Vietnamese-run barbershop is by far the most hospitable I’ve been too, and each barber is incredibly talented. The manager Jason always greets you with a smile and makes you feel like you’re at home. He always offers you a drink on the way out the door, and why? Because he’s a nice guy.

I wife and I recently moved back to DC and found that the shop we previously went to was no longer in business – but thank our lucky stars for finding JaJo’s! We had gone online and read their many years’ worth of positive reviews saying it was a ‘basic’ salon with great haircuts, at a great price, but we had no idea what a great experience it would be!
