Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI found this salon online and decided to try it out based on the excellent reviews. I’m certainly glad I did. Jaimi is absolutely amazing at what she does! She is both knowledgeable and passionate about hair care. She’s also friendly, very patient, and takes the time to explain to you what she’s doing, and how it helps your hair. I got a shampoo & silk press, cocktail treatment, and a haircut during my visit a few weeks ago. I also purchased a few of her hair products, that are keeping my hair soft and manageable until my next visit. While I was there, Jaimi also cleaned and sanitized every area we were in as soon as I moved to the next. I highly recommend Jai’Stylz Hair Salon! I found this salon online and decided to try it out based on the excellent reviews. I’m certainly glad I did. Jaimi is absolutely amazing at what she does! She is both knowledgeable and passionate about hair care. She’s also friendly, very patient, and takes the time to explain to you what she’s doing, and how it helps your hair. I got a shampoo & silk press, cocktail treatment, and a haircut during my visit a few weeks ago. I was looking for someone professional and I definitely found her just amazing my hair felt so light and fluffy. Love this salon when I say the best it’s definitely the best and she didn’t even burn me so that’s a plus. First of all, the owner Jai has a Master’s degree in haircare and specializes in scalp conditions that causes hair loss. She looks at your scalp using a microscope and gives you a protocol based on what the scalp indicates. From the scalp detox to the washing treatment onto the silk press, it was a very soothing, noninvasive experience. I’m completely tenderheaded and did not flinch one time when she did my silk press. When she did the edges, I didn’t feel anything! I would definitely recommend Jai Styles for any hair treatment, especially scalp care! Oh, and Jamal is also amazing! This salon is the best I’ve ever seen in the hair care business! First of all, the owner Jai has a Master’s degree in haircare and specializes in scalp conditions that causes hair loss. She looks at your scalp using a microscope and gives you a protocol based on what the scalp indicates. My hair has been through the pandemic and was not taking care of professionally, I searched for a black owned hair stylist and JAI’STYLS was the first one to pop up on Google, made my appointment, let’s just say I was not disappointed the young who shampooed my really massaged my scalp it was so relaxing and the protein treatment was much needed. Long story short I love my hair cut and style, JAI’STYLS is my new home!!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValuePreviously went to Jai Styles salon , on March 5th 2021, the style that I selected to have was the silk press for natural hair, and online it was listed as a flat iron press with a wash included. My hair is natural yes and was previously colored. Upon arrival the assistant looked at my hair and asked about my sides and I told him I would like it faded as well. once I was washed and jai came and put mousse on my hair I was sat under the dryer then I went to her chair. Her disposition was like she really didn’t care, she was on the phone and just started doing my hair. No hello or what I wanted or the style I wanted. I sat and figured maybe it was a process because I have never had this service before. As she was doing it I told her the look I was going for and she was like basically telling me what was wrong with my hair and that she’s not going over it and I can only get what she’s giving me. So I pay and leave because I had my birthday dinner to attend. The next day I call just to ask and see if we can fix it and she just was like you got what you paid for and told me for my style to last I needed other services in to which I replied well I didn’t know and that if she recommended it I would have got it and she’s like well due to Covid you can only get what you select and then starts saying why should I repeat myself to people who don’t listen and tried to insist I had problems, because I was dozing off due to being tired because I been up early running around getting stuff together for my birthday. So she’s like yea we were talking about you when you left. I still was in awe and shock because she was so nasty and I told her well no matter what was said or when , mind you the last time I went to her was 3 years ago as a professional, even if due to Covid or what the case was you still could have told me so therefore I could have made arrangements to come back again or make another appointment to get it done properly. I still had to go spend an additional $25 to go to a barber to get it’s shaped up . Which in the end I ended up wasting my money because as soon as I got home not even an hour later my hair went right back to a bush and had to wear a wig because it was worse then what I walked in with .
