Critical: Quality, ValueI went In last Friday for an all over highlight job with Carina. I told her as well as the gentleman that she had translate for her that I didn’t want it so close to my root & that I wanted it to fade in. I’ve bleached my hair before so I know how it should feel and come out. I was left to process for two hours. I didn’t notice till I got home how terrible it was. It’s far from the color I wanted, my roots look terrible and splotchy and she damaged my hair so bad that it is now breaking and feels stretchy & stringy. It was so bad that I had to go to another salon the morning after to chop off a good portion of my hair. For the amount of money I paid ($400), I shouldn’t have to go through this. My hair is unbelievable right now and to top it off I was charged for a treatment I was unaware of that she did till after the fact. I will never be going back to this salon and neither should you!! I was so excited when I found this place. As an African American, finding places to get my hair done close to Disney isn’t easy. Walking into this place was very non welcoming. My stylist didn’t see me and I was just standing there being ignored until my stylist had to come up to the front and get me. When I tried to book another apt to get a keratin treatment, they wouldn’t allow my stylist to get a treatment that would work for my hair type… very biased in my opinion. I’m willing to pay for it, but MY money apparently isn’t good there… never again!!

As a customer who expects nothing but the best in Men’s grooming, I highly recommend the Master Stylist and Coordinator, Jennifer! She is an esteemed professional whose attention to detail with a perfectionist style of attitude will make sure you have the right hair style, fade, color, highlights, and even Keratin treatment. I normally would visit V’s Barbershop, however, I like conveniece and salon options other than a simple haircut. The MASSAGE CHAIR where you wash your hair is Unbelievable!! I have also received a facial/eye wax service from Fernanda and it was the best treatment I’ve ever received. She is an expert Esthetician who is very gentle on the skin and uses natural skin care ingredients (9 different applications) including the cleanse, exfoliate, wax and laser, and even moisturizer. The service takes approximately 45 minutes but the best investment you can make on your face. I have high expecations and expect a wonderful experience out of a high-end salon. That exactly what I received!! I have recommended my Windermere and Disney friends to experience this salon. If you like Great Service, being pampered and need a makeover, please sure to see Jennifer and the team at Jacques Janine!

I would encourage people not to come to this salon. They do not treat their staff well and attempt to withhold their pay and their tips, which I find extremely unethical. I expect my tips to go towards my stylist, not the salon. I followed my stylist to JJ when she got a job here, and was shocked when she quit not long after and returned to her previous employer stating these reasons. I hope potential future employees see this as well and take note to stay away.
