This review is long overdue. I’ve been going to David Bui for several years now, for blonde highlights and cut. His work is amazing, seriously! He gets highlights consistently right (in my experience with previous stylists, it was often somewhat hit or miss). I skipped highlights for over 18 months due to the pandemic and being busy, with dark roots so long they reached my ears. After David worked his magic, you would have never known!

David is amazing!!! I was visiting SF and needed a quick shampoo / blowout before meeting my gfs for dinner so I stumbled upon this salon via Google search and gave them a call. David was able to squeeze me in same day and was so fast. He washed me and gave me an amazing blowout. He used great products and my hair had so much volume and bounce. Thank you David for saving me!!!

David Bui was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating about what to do with my hair. I got in touch and he quickly fit me in for a same day visit at their tucked away oasis. I asked his opinion about hair care and styles and he knew what to recommend, a style that is professional and easy to manage, which he showed me how to style on my own (trust me this is not easy!). He had me out of there with extra time to spare on my parking meter. I am grateful for my professional bob and for his great maintenance tips.

Like the most recent W.W reviewer, this review is also long overdue. I found my way to Jackson Place by reviews and being walkable from our place. David Bui kept popping up in reviews and there’s a reason! David was great, he balanced out my mess of grown out highlights per pandemic and was so fun to chat with. The biggest takeaway for anyone that feels like they have had hit/miss with hair salons in SF – he actually wanted/listened and took the time to make my hair not just look good or be repaired, but sustain me for our months long road trip. Definitely recommend him whether you have to commute in or live near by!

I have been happy customer for years – this salon just keeps getting better. LIZ is the super star…There are first lass- very talented stylists / rock stars – and the Salon is busy. No Walk ins…You must call for an appointment. Pretty Liz does “blonde” better than anyone. The salon is in a Great location with a coffee “kiosk” outside. Superb salon. Parking on street…bring quarters! or park at Portsmouth Square Garage. First Class Hair Products.
