Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueAfter reading the reviews I was very skeptical of getting my hair done at Jackie’s Hair braiding salon but after seeing the amazing job that was done on my moms and niece hair I decided to give it a try. I was totally blown away about the amazing job the ladies did on my hair today and it only took 4 hrs❗️ I was not burned and scarred like I was at new look by hot water the ladies were quick but very efficient and gentle. After reading the reviews I was very skeptical of getting my hair done at Jackie’s Hair braiding salon but after seeing the amazing job that was done on my moms and niece hair I decided to give it a try. I was totally blown away about the amazing job the ladies did on my hair today and it only took 4 hrs❗️ I was not burned and scarred like I was at new look by hot water the ladies were quick but very efficient and gentle. Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI was told by a staff member that they do starter locs. It was painful, she was very rough, and used way too much product(beeswax) on my hair. It took 4 hrs to do, she tried to charge me 20 more dollars than what she told me over the phone, and then asked for a ride home! I do not recommend this salon.Service: Hairstyling

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueThis place was absolutely horrible. I will never go back or refer any one. I went in to get micros. The first lady that started on my hair kept reduing the braid then I noticed instead of tiring knots she was using super glue on the ends which happened to be on my hair. After saying something she then began to tie knots . The next day I woke up to my braids coming out. I called the salon talked to Jacky her self explained what happen and that my braids where coming out she told me she would call me back after she talked to whom ever and fix the braids. I work so after I got off work I went to Jackie’s shop where I said they were supposed to fix my hair the ladies that did my hair where there jackie was not one of them called jackie said some thing in there language. And handed me the phone. Jackie started being rude to me on the phone saying she told me she would call me back and I had no right to back to the shop and address the issues with the ladies who messed my hair up in the first place and how my braids coming out was not their problem any more and they would be fixing anything because I didnt listen to her. This was the worst experience in the world I will never go to any African shop again . This place was absolutely horrible. I will never go back or refer any one. I went in to get micros. The first lady that started on my hair kept reduing the braid then I noticed instead of tiring knots she was using super glue on the ends which happened to be on my hair.
