I had my nails done somewhere else and they started peeling and were SO thick. I sent Jackie a messed last minute and she accepted the challenge to fix them for me the next day. She was super sweet and we had good conversation. She saved my nails and did a wonderful job doing some important nail art for me.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueOriginal Review: I have thick curly hair and requested to be with someone who was experienced. My roots were not touched and I had to ask to use the straightener just to fix my bangs. I left with practically frizzy curled hair. The young lady didn’t speak to me hardly accept asking what I wanted in the beginning. I even blow dried my hair so that my hair was not as much as a hassle to deal with. Going to have to fix it tonight myself. I also had to go to a photoshoot so there was no time to fix it.I wish Jackie would have done my hair. I see she has much better reviews but I am utterly disappointed especially paying $60 for something that is not what it’s supposed to be. Jackie has been my “Hair doc” for a few years now! I’m always a mess when I go in & feel like a different person when I leave. Her work is awesome & knows exactly how to fix anything! Make a person love themselves again! I recommend her & her business to anyone!!!

8/27/22. ZERO STARS. I highly do not recommend Jackie’s. She is all about keeping your money with or without providing service. I walked in as a first time customer for a scheduled perm priced at $150+. Upon arrival without even touching my hair price had already jumped to $50 more and said price may go even higher. Keep in my mind my hair is a little passed my shoulders (never blow dry, never straighten, no heat applied whatsoever, and an old caramel color on ends that had been done three years prior to appt)

I decided to try Jackie out based on her reviews. I went in for a trim and wanted to discuss additional services going forward. I typically get sun kissed highlights, but had recently done a balayage and my base color was not what I preferred, so I asked Jackie how she could get me where I’d like to be. As I know color does not lift color, she proceeded to tell me she could lift my roots with peroxide and then place a warmer color on top for four hundred something dollars! I laughed inside as my hair per her EXACT words “is not that bad”. With everything she quoted me I was looking at spending a 1000 dollars to get to my happy place LOL! I went home and processed this information and came up with a better solution not only for my hair but for my pocket. I texted and called her with the details, she failed to respond to me. I simply clarified my hair at the roots and was able to tone down my base, problem solved for less than 10 bucks! I went elsewhere for my hair needs and came out for everything I wished to do for merely 250 dollars!
