It’s sad to see that only “certain” people can get an appointment. I told my mother about her possibly stop coloring her hair and go natural white/black. We waited 2 months to grow out her grey then contacted Jack to only find out he is not taking any new clients. Then again there are new clients all the time in his page. Clients from all over coming for his services. We are local and not celebrities. So unable to book an appointment. Now I need to find someone else or just let it grow. Bummer. Stopped following him.

Wow, based on the tone of the response to negative reviews I would never use their services. The best colorist is not necessarily the person who is the best at self promotion, there are many great colorists who do exceptional work at a fraction of the cost. Don’t be blinded by the ego—it’s hair, not rocket science.

This salon is located in Tustin CA. I followed Jack Martin on Instagram and was really impressed with his videos showing and highlighting his hair cutting skills and helping women Embrace their gray. I decided to schedule an appointment with him and I’m so happy that I did. My hair was very long, one length. I gave him the opportunity to choose a style for me and to be creative. I love the final results. I will definitely go back in the future.

This is the only review I’ve ever written here. I went to Jack Martin’s salon all during high school and on my college breaks. Jack and his wife really treat you like family, and are genuinely interested in the lives and well being of their regular clients. Jack is so incredibly talented and I always walked out of that studio happy. Ask about his history and his roots, for he is such an interesting person and you will have so much to talk about. For right now, I cannot afford to go to any salon so I do my own hair. But when I can again, I’ll be going back to Jack Martin’s salon and nowhere else.
