First time visiting this salon and upon walking in, I was really hoping I was going to like it. The salon had that southern charm to it and the staff seemed very friendly. My appointment was with Julie and I have to say, she gave me the worst haircut I’ve ever had. My hair was really long, thick and straight, and I explained to her I did not want a blunt cut. She dry cut my hair straight across and then proceeded to hold it up in sections and cut into the bottom. I believe she may have thought she was texturizing it but, she instead cut chunks out of the back of my hair. Because Julie used a round brush and blow dryer, I could not tell how uneven and blunt it really was in the salon. She also curled it which camouflaged the missing chunks. I actually tipped this lady before I left because, although it wasn’t what I wanted, it really didn’t look that bad. Problem is, with the humidity in NC, curl doesn’t stay. By the time I got home, I looked like I had a haircut from the movie ” Dumb and Dumber”. It’s pretty bad when you look better going into a salon than coming out. Now I have to pay someone else to fix it and it’s going to be shorter yet. Well, at least hair grows back… EVENTUALLY!

I went into Jabot Saturday and Linnie cut my hair. I showed her a picture of the cut I wanted. After she cut my hair it looked the same way as it was when I walked in.
