He listens, understands what you want and works with you to get your hair where you want it to be. Always remembers what you talked about last time you were there (absolutely incredible). For us natural blondes ( ) it’s very difficult to find someone who can do touch ups, highlights really well. I hadn’t been happy with my last salon -although they were lovely people they couldn’t get the color right. And then I walked into J Thomas and saw Barbara and I knew I found the one! I started going to her earlier this year and I’ll be going to her every 4-5 weeks forever!

I had my hair done by James for many years (2002) until I moved from NY in 2009. Nobody ever cut my hair as well as James. It always looked perfect no matter how long or short it was. When I moved to the south, I still cannot find anybody who can cut/trim my hair the way James did. It got so, the first year I moved away, I drove all the way back to NY JUST to have him cut my hair and get it back into shape (one butcher did such a number on it that nobody could fix it). NO LIE. To this day, I still cannot find anybody as good as him. I love you James and miss you!!!
