I’ve been taking my son that goes to PMA to JR for awhile now. My son is very happy with his hair and is always in regs after his visit. He actually prefers JR to cut his hair and will wait for him. I’m glad to know my son has a good barber that makes him look sharp and does a good job. I’ve tried another place and it wasn’t as good as JR’s. Needless to say we won’t be going anywhere else for my son or husband’s haircuts.

A good quality barber shop. If you want a non-standard haircut/beard trim, this is the place to go. They will take extra time to listen and work with you while charging a fair price. The only downsides are that you’ll likely be waiting a while, and they charge for making an appointment.

JR’s barbershop is a great place to take your kids to get a nice haircut. JR, the owner has been cutting hair for 20 years and has had his shop for 10 years. At the 2019 Porterville Veterans Stand-Down JR donated his time and hair cutting skills and gave free haircuts to our nation’s heroes if they needed one.
