I’m new to the vallejo area and had gone to another barbershop that was very expensive happened to be on my way for a haircut seen this shop decided to give it a shot very friendly great haircut never disappointed. J. P. has been a barber in Vallejo for 25 years. I always go during the work week to get the same great haircut at the senior rate. You also get free commentary on your favorite sport team (don’t turn your head if he disagrees with your admiration of your team–he’s cutting your hair, remember). Great conversationalist on many topics and my wife is always happy with my haircut–that’s the real complimentary remark in this review. Thanks J. P. I’ve been getting my haircut at the Original Jp’s not Jp’z for close to 20 yrs now and my son close to 13. Great friendly barber with a nice shop. Great prices and usually not a long wait.

JP is the last surviving barbershop . His manor and jokes make the time go fast. He may not have a fancy barber shop, but his honesty not to accept a tip unless the customer is satisfied with the work. Kudos to the JP custom shop
