Got acrylics , she missed half my nail it looks like they are already growing . Shape isn’t good . And so expensive not worth it , no skill at all and very rushed

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, ValueI see Sue for my nails. Booked an appointment for my sister and I two weeks ago, I scheduled my sisters appointment with mine two days before the appointment and she still squeezed her in which was great, my sister loved her gel set and I also really loved mine. One of my nails broke but this was due to my work. The rest of the set stayed on till my next appointment which is tomorrow after two weeks. My sisters set is still in great shape just going in for fill ins. Sue is great she was amazing when it came to design of my nails and helped me decide which shades to use for what I was going for. She has an eye and actually cares about what she does for her client and I really appreciate that. She also made my younger sister feel beautiful which is why I lll probably keep coming back here ! Def see Sue for your gel set! I also have to mention I am male and she was very welcoming and accommodating in doing my gel acrylic nails, she made me feel comfortable and didn’t treat me any different than any other customer.Service: ManicureI see Sue for my nails. Worst manicure I have ever had. The staff is very nice and helpful but the skill level was terrible. Got a regular mani/pedi and my manicure was very sloppy, paint did not fully cover 19 out of 20 of my nails, and never asked if I liked my nails square or round. The manicurist filed them down to a short square without even asking. She did ask if I wanted to keep my nails long however, I said yes I did, and she filed them short anyway. I never leave bad reviews but this was 100% necessary

Got my nails done last Sunday. On top of the long wait which would have been fine had they done a good job, they were very expensive. $40 for a gel manicure that didn’t even last a week. Absolutley horrendous job. I have never had such a poor nail experience.

Great pedicure but I endured listening to an employee being berated by (assumed) a manager or owner for about 15 minutes. That should have been done in private. When I paid cash to get the discount, this same person imitated in a mocking voice my exclamation of glee. I turned and asked if she was making fun of me, to which she replied, “Yes.” I’m still stunned. I won’t be going back.

So I have had 2 Manicures both which had tips set in. Both were french gels. The first place I went to get a Gel Manicure and the reason i say Gel Manicure is because that is what I asked for and I received the tips without problem or confusion from the salon. At J&L Nails it was such a huge ordeal and they were rude. I had called made an appt. for a gel manicure. I thought that is what it was called. It was my second one so I was never sure of the terminology stuff for this whole nail thing. When I arrived they were rude and complained for 5 mins that oh dear that isn’t what its called and all of that. I apologized and explained I did not know what it was called. They continued to complain to which I said ok I will leave and go elsewhere for my nails thanks. They were quick to say oh its ok and gladly did my nails. They did a great job but they were pricey and did not seem to great with customer handling. I am not sure if I wish to try them again after how I was treated. Sorry but like I said it was my second time getting nails done and I felt uncomfortable. Nothing against them speaking their own language but I heard my name multiple times while they spoke to eachother and laughed. Wish there were american nail salons closer.
