Chelsy did an amazing job on coloring my hair. I had been to a couple other stylists who didnt want to fix my color but Chelsy took the time and attention to figure it out and it worked perfectly. I had gone totally gray last year then decided to box color it brown and then of course had to keep coloring every few weeks so I ended up with this one to two inch of gray roots and brown to the ends. It would have painfully taken at least a year to grow out but voila it’s back to a lovely blonde gray which I can definitely work with growing out to my natural gray. Thanks Chelsy! You’re the best!

I booked an appointment and was set up with Cody. When I got there, the staff was very nice and offered me something to drink. They were very polite. Cody was very nice but I did feel like I was rushed through the whole hair appointment. I do appreciate the time management but he washed my hair very aggressively and super quick. He then cut, blowdried, and straightened it for me. After I was done it looked pretty good but later when I got in my car I looked at my hair and most of my roots and all under my hair by my neck area was still curly/wavy. I know I should of checked my hair better but I just felt so rushed. Then I felt the hair in the back of my head and it was still damp but super close to being dry. In total, from start to finish i was in the chairs maybe 15 min. I paid 45 and added a 20% tip because i didn’t want to be rude. I don’t think the experience was worth what I paid. I had to go home and re-straighten my hair. I saw the other stylists taking their time and doing a thorough job so if I do go back, it won’t be with Cody.

I would not recommend J Elliot Salon to anyone. I saw Alexis R. I asked her to simply put some long layers in my hair. She did not wash, or style my hair at all. While cutting my hair she had to ask another hair stylist to come and help show her how to put layers in my hair, because she said my hair is “so thick”. I left with my hair being very uneven and my layers not being blended at all. I had to go to another hair salon to fix what she did to my hair. I am having to grow out my hair because she cut my bottom layer way too short. She charged me $45 and she did not wash or style my hair.
