Jason is such a CHARACTER. You will leave this salon not only with beautiful hair but with a new friend. He is warm, sweet and kind. This was my first time dying my hair and I was very nervous and he did everything possible to make me comfortable – even while he multitasked training a new employee! The amount of people who walked into the salon to ask about his mother was also heartwarming. You can tell the impact this salon and its owners has on the community. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend my afternoon and my money.

This place is an absolute gem! Traveling with my family in Pagosa Springs and needed haircuts. I walked in on a busy day and was quickly offered an appointment for the next afternoon. Made it back and had the best time. Jason treats you like long lost family and really gives you time and attention. He gave me a really clean haircut and managed my son’s wild little mane perfectly. He even had his young assistant (Maddie) wash my daughter’s hair because she was feeling left out. Oh, and Jason’s mother (who specializes in wigs) is a quintessential movie star. So classy and complimentary. This is the place to visit if you want a quality haircut in Pagosa Springs while being treated like family. I love having this kind of experience while traveling! The worst and most bizarre haircut experience of my life. I have no idea what this haircutter was attempting to do with my hair but it looks terrible and so unfinished and I’ve had a lot of haircuts by a variety of people from my daughter in my backyard to very top of the line salons (all that I’ve been very happy with) and this was hands down the worst haircut ever. I just wanted my hair trimmed and evened out. I don’t even know what I ended up with. Wish I had asked for Jason or someone who would have maybe listened to my request.
