This was my first time here and I was getting what I think is a pretty drastic color change. I was nervous as I usually only go to people my friends have been too. He listened to what I wanted and needed and I am very happy with the results. He is personable and friendly, talks just the right amount, and asked how I wanted my hair styled before I left. Very satisfied with the service and look forward to going back!

I went to here looking for help with my hair that wasn’t what I wanted from another place and he helped my hair out so much! He took very good care of me! Let me know what he could do for my hair and what he wouldn’t be able to do. The hair you want sometimes takes time! I will not be changed Stylist he’s done great color extensions cut treatments on my hair and I wouldn’t pick anyone else to do my hair again! I refer all my friends and my family here now! Definitely make your appointments! He’s great!!!

By far the best coloring work I have had on my hair! We are talking about 20+ years of highlighting and coloring. I have always been a blonde, but with older age, the color was getting darker, duller and thinner. Which was ‘ok’ and then the gray streaks have lately been creeping in. I was embracing the gray, however it was externally aging me. Alex brought my hair back to the hair of my youth! Also he recommended a volumizer product that there was no pressure to buy, however, I was so impressed with the volume I had lacked for years and the wonderful smell, I bought it. I use this product daily! I love what it does for the softness of my hair, the shine and volume! I have found I substitute this product for dry shampoo. I have had so many compliments not only people I know but strangers since getting this done! Not only a great experience, I feel my experience was up there with what the top 1% get in regards to hair! If you read J. Alex profile you will see he is up there with those stylist that deal with the wealthy, how ge has worked with the best of the best around the world (Europe) and Chicago, that he has started his own adventure of entrepreneurism. Such a treat to have in Crystal Lake, IL. Highly recommend to give a try!

Alex is by far the BEST person to cut hair in the Crystal Lake area! His knowledge of not only cutting hair and being the best hairstylist is superb, but his hair care knowledge is bar none! He’ll give you the best tips and tricks to make sure you’re doing everything needed to have shinny luscious locks! 10/10 would recommend! …oh, and he’s super friendly!
