Overall good experience. I used Groupon coupon and Marcos is my stylist. He listened to my requirement to not reduce length and do long layers and edges to be blunt(like trimming off my sharp edges). He does as per my requirement. I posted my before, after pictures below.

Worst service- spent 200 USD on balayage and haircut to remove damaged ends..the hairdresser seemed to be in a hurry and didn’t bother to style it well.. I wanted more personality with my hair but what she did was just so plain and boring— very very very different from the references I showed and what I requested.. 200 bucks on this is just pinching me. Wish there was someone to fix it for me.. attaching before and after pics- one could just take a guess on which one was after pic 🙁

DO NOT GO HERE!! This is the worst haircut I have ever gotten. I thought maybe it wasn’t that bad because it was “styled” but as each day goes by I’m realizing how bad my haircut here was and people even pointed it out to me. I asked for ONE INCH off and slight face framing. I was left with my hair thinned, chunks of my hair missing and “shelf-hair.” Emilio cut my hair and he was all over the place and rushed me. I should have left before he started cutting. He did my “consult” for what I wanted while in the middle of cutting other peoples hair, he left leave me countless amounts of time to talk to other people while cutting my hair, and overall he ruined my hair. I told him I didn’t like it and asked why he sectioned off the top part of my hair and cut extreme layers all around it and he told me “to wear it and it’s what we talked about.” I showed him pictures, asked him multiple times to just listen to me bc I wasn’t done explaining what I wanted but he ensured me he “knew what I wanted.” I want a refund I literally cry everyday over my hair. DO NOT GO HERE!!

I’m not from Pittsburgh so I looked to google and Groupon to find a place for a quick but nice trim. Knowing the cuts are normally $70+ I thought I could trust a Groupon from here. I left with my hair butchered and that was after I pointed out many spots to fix while I was still there. The stylist also smelled very strongly of cigarettes and it wasn’t very pleasant to sit through until the smell started to fade. The lack of combing my hair entirely before chopping it off was probably the first sign that this wasn’t going to be a good experience.

My daughter gave me a gift certificate for highlights, cut & style for my birthday. Mazie really hooked me up. She made me feel special at a low time with all that’s going on plus right before my appointment I woke up with Bell’s palsy. So sorry it took so long to send review especially because the appointment was back in November but life as we now know it has been so hectic but I’m still getting a lot of compliments thanks to Mazie.
