This last Thursday, the day of love, was my second visit at Ivy’s Hair Salon and the second time I left feeling amazing! This trip was a last minute scramble to be presentable; which required a hair cut, style, and eyebrow wax. I’ve now had my hair cut by two stylists there now; Kim and I believe the second stylists name was Bea but I regrettably did not pay good enough attention but we chatted so much!

I have very fine, thin hair and when I find a stylist I stick with them. I had been with one gal for 9 years and she moved….I went to 2 or 3 salons, and it seem nobody knew how to deal with fine, thin hair. When I called the salon Kim was working in at the time, I told the gal, I need someone who can work with thin, fine hair….she told me she was scheduling me with Kim. I was ecstatic from my first cut with her. She did exactly as I asked her to and a few months later introduced me to a new style, which is hard to do with short, thin, fine hair. I’ve been seeing Kim faithfully for 6+ years and have no plans of ever going to anyone else. She is not only very good, she listens to you, very personable and is adorable. I’ve introduced my mother and a few of her friends who all love Kim and continue to come see her.

Kim has been doing my hair regularly for almost 10 years to my great satisfaction. She gives a good cut, styles it so it stays well, and is extremely reliable. I simply never have to fuss with my hair because Kim keeps me is good shape. I highly recommend her work.

One of the best haircuts I’ve had in a long time! Granted, my hair is fairly fine, straight and manageable. I mostly just get a simple layer with full bangs. Though it’s hard to mess up layering, there’s still a finesse to it. Anh did an AMAZING job. She fit me in as a walk-in and really took her time. I’ve never had someone later my bangs the way she did and it makes all the difference in how they lay. Excellent. Thank you!

The reviews are true! Kim was patient relaxed and friendly. Explains everything and the reasons why she does it a certain way before going further so you’re included. Unlike other stylists that just do what they want and maybe you get kind of what you asked for. She walked me through my cut cos I do get very nervous asking for what I want. Best affordable non fancy salon I’ve been to and will def come back. Thank you Kim I love my hair now

Absolutely amazing! I will never trust my hair with anyone else. Kim did my hair last year and I loved it. I made the mistake of going to another salon that destroyed my hair. I came in and Kim fixed it. And I’m going back next to have her fix the color. Never again will I go anywhere else!

Kim always does the best job with my fades. I’ve always used different people to cut my hair in the past searching for some place or someone that can deliver consistently. I come in every 2 weeks now to have Kim cut my hair, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon…even if I move far away.
