Beautiful place, but I didn’t feel like I was listened to. It was a little different to the “diversity” the ivy salon claims to have. When I agreed with the hair stylist on what she recommended during the consult she just repeated herself so I don’t know if she heard me agreeing with her recommendation. Overall not the best first experience. I don’t know if I’ll be back. I have an appointment scheduled but I might cancel and seek somewhere else that will do what she recommended hopefully with a more welcoming atmosphere.

The environment at the salon is very clean, upbeat, and modern. The staff all have individual personalities. My current stylist is Anna D. who is lovely and very on-point with cutting short styles! My first cut ever with her was a pixie and now that my hair has grown she gave me a beautiful blunt cut with texture.

Very disappointed! I scheduled appointments weeks in advance and was called by the salon on the same day twice they were cancelling my appointments. These cancellations were two separate appointments over several months, with 2 separate stylists. When a client schedules in advance and called on a whim by the salon to cancel within 2 hours of the appointment, this is unacceptable. After the second cancellation I chose to write a review. I was going to chalk the first cancellation up to just a disappointment. I had tried since April to get an appointment, causing these cancellations to push things back even further. I would not recommend this salon to others and found the cancellation s very unprofessional.
