Reasonable prices and deals… Very friendly and personable staff who’s always there to help with your tanning needs. Not to mention there’s a pretty nice gym attached as well.

This has been by far the best tanning place I have ever found, BUT I left after going here for years when the owner accused me of using lotion that messed up the acrylic in one of their tanning beds. I don’t even use tanning lotions because I have very sensitive skin! They would never know that though because I felt basically harassed like crazy to buy lotion! I broke down on more than one occasion over the years an bought it just because I really liked their beds and I was made to feel like if I didn’t buy it they would NOT let me tan! So I don’t know how it is possible to mess up the acrylic if I don’t even use lotion! It felt to me it was because I had stopped buying lotion. ALL of the employees that work there are awesome! Like another review I read they do have a lot of rules, but I understand why they have them and I have always respected and followed them! When I was accused of damaging property that was the last straw for me I haven’t found a new place to tan because of Covid. Next time I hope they make sure they are absolutely certain before they accuse someone because they will lose more honest and trustworthy customers if they do so!

I have been calling this place for a while and it goes to voicemail every single time. The base bed cost $54 with debit card or $43 with cash and the max time on these beds is 15 minutes! The beds were small and I’m ONLY 5ft! You do have to buy their tanning lotion at the salon and when I asked what was the best lotion for the cheapest price their answer was we have one for $27 or we have “somewhere on a beach” for $50 before taxes! This place is very expensive! The lady at the desk was nice and friendly though.

I have been tanning with Island tans for almost 2 years…. I have tried and stayed long term with several other establishments but none of them come close to the love, care, concern and authentic friendly people that have grown to be more like family at this establishment! It’s always clean, up to date bulbs and the newest, best products are always in stock and ready for me when I run low. Their prices are fair if not better than anywhere else, and they do their best to offer specials and discounts where ever they can. REMEMBER, they are a business but trust when I say that they are not a greedy business and TRULY care more about the people they serve!! Super nice staff. I received my first spray tan several days ago and it looks very natural. Several people asked if I had just gotten back from vacation at the beach. The staff explains everything, including how to get the longest wear.

My girls and I have been tanning here for over a year now. I wouldn’t tan any other place. I have tried others in the area and there is no comparison. I love that the owners actually work here themselves and really have a dedication to their customers. Them, along with their friendly, knowledgeable staff are what keeps us coming back. I highly recommend you give them a try if you haven’t already. You will be just as impressed as I am.

Too many rules, fake 24 hour tanning “law” and unprofessional owners. Every where you look in the salon is a sign posted about all the things you can’t do. You’re not allowed to bring your own lotion, you have to buy theirs and they aren’t even reasonably priced! Don’t waste your time! Do yourself a favor and go to BVI instead!
