I had the pleasure of using their Norvell spray booth and it was so easy! Not only does the booth walk you through all the steps, but the staff was amazing! She was sure to explain every step of the process before hand. She was very kind and made me feel confident that my tan would be great! The tan came out even and smooth without any scent however I did use the primer they suggested! The atmosphere was warm which was welcoming! After the spray was finished, it was completely dry to the touch and I felt comfortable getting dressed again without fear of smudging or streaking. After care steps were provided and I left happy! Will be going back for sure.

Nice place. So many machines for both capacity and varied style and intensity. The staff is always nice and they keep good record of your tans and visits. They offer a variety of different lotions and enhancers upon entering in the lobby area. Always seems clean and well kept up. Definitely would return.

Critical: ProfessionalismI have been a customer with Island Sun for over 10 years. Today, the snotty girl behind the desk was extremely unprofessional. I made a conscience decision during covid to NOT freeze my membership because I wanted to support the local small businesses… but today, my decision has completely changed and will no longer give this place any more of my money. I made a conscience decision during covid to NOT freeze my membership because I wanted to support the local small businesses… but today, my decision has completely changed and will no longer give this place any more of my money. Such an amazing experience ! I used to tan in New York and didn’t think I could have the same kind of experience when I moved out here, however they have SOOO many tanning beds – literally all high end and full of the latest tech! The staff is so friendly and they really go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need as well as offer great tips for getting that perfect “glow” … place is also very clean and pristine which obviously is important ! Hands down, highly recommend !

Staff never seems concerned with retaining or satisfying customer base. Despite my wife being a loyal customer to Island Sun for decades (at several locations), she recently had a concern about an erroneous yet minimal charge on her account (not the first time this happened either). Of course, no one at the location could assist and she was quickly passed off to a manager at another location on the phone. Instead of seeing her long history (including her purchase and paid upgrade history) and quickly crediting and apologizing for the charge like any reputable business concerned with customer satisfaction would do, the manager berated and spoke down to my wife, criticizing her. I’ve never experienced a manager so egregiously bad at customer service. Poor attitude and complete lack of customer service mentality likely comes from owners. Some of the employees are nice and friendly, but far too many seem incapable of many job functions, well after their initial training, often causing long lines and upset customers.
