Positive: ProfessionalismThis place is fantasic. Anything is better than Palm Beach, but the staff here are super knowledgeable and know what to suggest- but never pushy, and never in a bad mood. They don’t huff and puff and make you feel like a burden if you come in close to closing or if you are indecisive. On top of everything- it’s affordable, and the hours are great if you can’t make it before dinner time. Big plus for me- they sell Devoted Creations brand, BUT it’s not 90% DC lotions, there’s a huge variety of brands, so I’m not looking at a bunch of lotions that just don’t work for me by the same brand, and they are priced so reasonably compared to everywhere else. Been coming here since my prom in 2007 back when it was still in Cornelius, and you didn’t have to be 18 to tan (with parents signature) and I’ve gone other places and keep coming back here!Service: TanningThis place is fantasic. This place is fantasic. Anything is better than Palm Beach, but the staff here are super knowledgeable and know what to suggest- but never pushy, and never in a bad mood. The woman at the front desk was extremely knowledgeable and gave me a tour of all the islands. I chose to use the spray tanning booth and with her assistance I used a medium bronze spray and I couldn’t believe how natural it look and how evenly it was applied. I have been going tanning for year and this was my 1st time at Island Rays. The woman at the front desk was extremely knowledgeable and gave me a tour of all the islands. I chose to use the spray tanning booth and with her assistance I used a medium bronze spray and I couldn’t believe how natural it look and how evenly it was applied. Seeing how clean and safe this salon is, I signed up for a membership and I am looking forward to many more visits.
