I absolutely love everything about this place. The owner Carmen and Heather behind the desk are 2 of my most favorite people. Their smiles are contagious and no matter what mood I have when I walk through the doors of island dreams I always walk out feeling better thanks to them two beautiful souls. They have good tanning beds and tanning bed packages. Carmen does a great job with hair color and cuts. Also I am very picky with having my eyebrows waxed Carmen always does a good job. I always leave that place satisfied. ❤

It’s a cozy, clean, well-appointed little salon that’s always accommodating and very friendly. Heather is so sweet and helpful and makes you feel right at home. The prices and packages are the most reasonable I’ve found and they never use high pressure sales tactics like the chain salons do, which I find totally refreshing! I’ve been tanning here ever since moving to SC a couple years ago. I’m a former Palm Beach Tan/Ultra Tan customer, but believe me when I say, this salon beats both of them on all points. It’s a cozy, clean, well-appointed little salon that’s always accommodating and very friendly. Heather is so sweet and helpful and makes you feel right at home. Great beds. There is a lot of choices to choose from. They even offer snacks. You can even get your hair done too. I bought the basic package unlimited for $33 a month. They offer different tanning lotions too.

Love this place!! Claire is the best!!! Saw an advert on a buggy at bi-lo, and thought… what the heck!! I can go and get my hair done by a professional stylist in York..? No Way. Made an appointment by phone, got showered up, and made it in on time, then…BAMM!! Now I’m looking good and feeling fine, pretty darn good in 29745. Good looking out Carmon, way to run a business in York I’m proud to support. If you want the best styling in town, this is where you go. Keep up the good work!!!

I had purchased a tanning package prior to the Covid 19 for one month. When covid 19 shut the salon down I was told they would hold my time left. When the salon opened back up on May 18th I was told my days started that day if I showed up or not. I reached out to Heather who was very nice and professional about the situation. She reached out to the owner with my concerns. Stating she understood my worried considering the Covid 19 is not over. Was told I would be contacted the next day with a response from the owner. It is now the 27th and I have not heard from them and so I called them and was told that she couldn’t help me my days started on the 18 if I liked it or not. Now with all that being said I have 1 day left as or tomorrow . So I will not be returning to this location for business. Bad Business.

Ashley destroyed my hair after doing highlights without a toner. It looks terrible and is braking . After calling, she still has not returned my calls and apparently they do not stand behind their hair dressers and try and fix the problem. Ashley was nice, but don’t wast your money here. Very disappointed.

Paid 406 $ for my girlfriend to have color and extensions done by a girl named Ashley. The next day the weave fell out and 2 of them are visible no matter what way you do her hair. She asked for It to be fixed multiple times and was ignore so she starting to call and say she will get a lawyer if she isn’t refunded or her hair fixed right, 5 minutes later Ashley sends a text to her saying she can go “f**k” her self and she’s not giving her money or fixing. Her manager send her messages calling her ugly and that nothing she does to her hair will fix how ugly she is. And then another lady who works up there sends a death threat. All this because we want a 400$ hair job to look right. Then Ashley claims we never paid her 400$ ( even though we have pictures of the trxt) I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else. And Ashley I hope you come to your senses and realise we don’t deserve this or to be talked to like this. All we want back is our money, we said you,can have the extension and keep the money for the color, but she has blocked us on everything and has her friends sending us death threats. So we will and have been gladly letting everyone know how are services have been at your place of “business”
