I came in to the shop today to get long box braids. I am not from this area, so I was a little skeptical at first, but I called and the owner was very patient and nice with me via phone. I walked in last minute and both ladies started immediately with my hair. They were fast, neat workers. I really love my hair! I will be back soon…

I just left their salon last night. I scheduled my appointment with them maybe a week prior. The appt was at 7am and and I was told it should take about 5 hours. I personally know that without seeing the client that this can change. When I arrived thereally was only one person there and she told me that I wold have to come back at 4pmy because someone that was scheduled to come the day before was told to come that morning. I asked for her to call the owner and she apologized and told me that if the lady that want in the shop finished early that they would call me. She also stated that she would give me a discount for the trouble. So I left. Around 130, I received a call from them telling me that she was ready. I was happy about that. When I arrived she was very polite and ready to start on me. I was told that the style that I wanted would be 160 if they provide the hair and 140 if I provide my own hair for box braids in a bob. When I spoke to the owner she srated that the style I wanted runs about 200 and with the discount it would be 170. I was fine with that. She did my hair and to my surprise it was not painful at all. Especially with me being tender in the top an on the edges. I also wanted to make sure that she did not braid my edges tight at all. She braids really fast and made sure that my edges were taken care of properly. For everything including the burned ends and finishing touches I was out of there by 730. Which took about 5.5 hours. The only reason I didn’t give this place 5 stars and the unreliable scheduling and pricing. I think that maybe the appointments should be made in person in order to get a better estimate of style and pricing and if there is a problem with scheduling that clients should be called ahead of time. Other than that I am very satisfied with the services. And would recommend them to others. Thanks so much Isa.

This is the most unprofessional African hair braiding business I’ve ever experienced. I’ve called many times for a hair appointment and drove to the hair shop to wait on the workers and no one came. Every time I would call to ask when they would come to beaufort to do my hair they would give me a day and then when I showed up no one was there so when I called back the lady would say that they are in savannah and that if I drove to savannah they would do my hair. First off I’m not driving all the way to savannah to get my hair done and second if you knew you were not going to be in Beaufort why tell me that you were and then when the day comes you cancel each time. They are liars and Obviously don’t want the money.

This is the worst braiding shop in Beaufort, SC they’re always canceling your appointment the day of and they’re always late when they do show up. I will never go to this braiding salons again and will never recommend them to anyone.
