I rarely write reviews of businesses, but I visited Ironworks for the first time today and was very dissatisfied with the haircut I received. I had 4pm appointment and came in with pretty long hair hoping to get it shortened to a reasonable length. When I showed up for my appointment, I didn’t really feel any of the hospitality which many of the other reviews talk about.

The way the barber handled my head was bad. He was using the trimmer and scissors so rough it actually hurt and I had to squeak out an “ouch” to let him know while he talks to someone on a video call throughout. The skin on my head and neck still hurts. The thinning scissors was constantly pulling on my hair. For a premium service grooming center, this was an appalling experience for me.

Made an appointment to have my haircut for the first time in over a year. Their barber did a greta job, I then made anothwr appointment 2 weeks later with THE SAME BARBER. I show up for my appointment, he’s not there, they have scheduled to get my haircut with some random lady. No message as to why leading up to it, no reasoning, nothing. If I wanted anyone to cut my hair, I would’ve selected anyone. Would’ve been great to have literally any form of communication leading up to the appointment so I could cancel, as I only wanted HIM to cut my hair. ridiculous

This is my third time in a row getting my hair & beard cut at Ironworks. Very friendly and, most importantly, skilled staff who have obviously been doing this type of work for years. This level of professionalism does come at a premium, but if you’re tired of typical hair cut salon packed with people like sardines, this may be what you’ve been looking for. They provide a small lounge where you’re greeted and they also sell higher-end men’s products for hair/beard/shaving needs. Did I mention some of their packages included a premium beer of your choice? My barber, Elijah, always does such a great job!

Amazing experience super nice staff and a great haircut! I had realized when I got home I forgot to ask for the back to be tapered (completely my fault) so I went back later in the day and asked if it would be possible to taper it and Aziz was super nice about it and got it done without cutting any corners. Great customer service, Aziz always does a great job.
