We decided on a plan to go shorter, but not the pixie I was thinking about. Since I was NOT used to my hair being short, I thought this was a good plan. I can always go back if I want to go shorter. Highly recommend Lindsay at Invidia Hair Design! My hair is kind of 2a/2b wavy/curly. It was really dry and the curls were stretched out. Lindsay took off some length and gave me some shorter layers and it was EXACTLY what my hair needed! I love how it looks now! The curls are much bouncier now, and I just love how it makes me look and feel. Will definitely be returning!

The stylist I had, Carie, was very friendly when I came in for my birthday appointment a couple weeks ago. I asked for a cut and purple dye blended from my roots. She said I had a two-week period to come back and fix things. I came in two days past that mark because I had noticed my hair was a lot more brown (my original color) than purple. Underneath was not purple at all and even the surface only had hints of very muted purple with the majority still being brown. The only reason I waited two days past that mark was because I needed to wait until payday to tip her for her service. I came in hoping they would give me the customer service of a locally-owned place (I like to stick with the same hairstylist for long periods of time) but Carie kept saying we had discussed how a lot of it was going to be brown which I know for sure was not the case. I even had a friend with me at the original appointment who confirmed that for me. And although I was trying to be courteous by waiting a couple extra days to tip her, they turned me away and said it was the manager’s policy. When I asked to speak with the manager, they said the owner was out of work and there was no one else I could speak to. I’m very frustrated because I would have liked to keep returning to this salon regularly for my cut and color, but they operate like a corporate store and make no exceptions for loyal customers. I would have gladly kept my business with them and recommended them to friends and family, but I would rather take my business to a place I can build a relationship with. There was very little empathy and I’m disappointed.

I had my first visit at Invidia today! Marcella was my stylist, and she was professional and kind. She did my eyebrows and shaped them exactly how I liked them. She cut away all the broken and damaged hair from my hair. She took off less than inch, and my hair looks thick and healthy. She also told me about other services at the salon, and she wasn’t like a salesperson. I had a wonderful time and I left feeling beautiful. I would highly recommend both Marcella and Invidia!

I never usually write reviews, but was so happy with my last experience that I felt it necessary to say something! Christy has been cutting my hair over the past 2 years, and every time I have loved it! I trust her to do whatever she thinks is best and she has never disappointed! With my hair being very thick it’s hard for me to cut my hair shorter, and this is the first time where I’ve had hardly any issues! The costs are very reasonable, and they take the time to blow out your hair and make sure you are happy with it before you leave. I am constantly getting compliments on my new do and couldn’t be happier! The incentives they give you for referring new clients are also great!

I have used more than one of their stylists for both my daughter and me. We have naturally curly hair and I think it’s really difficult to find people who know how to work with naturally curly hair. I’ve been pleased every time! I highly recommend them. Great product selection as well!

I got a great deal on Groupon, keep your eyes open, and the stylist was sweet. She made sure I understood each process that was happening and, I hope this doesn’t come across wrong, she didn’t talk my ear off. She let me enjoy being pampered for a bit. I have NEVER gotten more compliments on a haircut/color. I’ll be returning.

It was nothing like the picture that I showed the lady.I went to Elena. And I didn’t even have to show her a picture. She has always done a fabulous job, and she is SO good at what she does. I will never NOT go to Elena. And I will always call INVIDIA! My little family goes there and we will always continue to go there. It’s a family type Atmosphere, they treat you like family, and they are the kindest people. Besides that she KNOWS what she is doing what a cup of color and a pair of scissors!
