I was visiting the area and they fit me in at the 112 E Joliet Street location. The receptionist unnecessarily informed me that an elderly couple had recently purchased the salon, and warned me that an elderly gentleman would be cutting my hair. Tim gave me the perfect A-symmetrical cut that I requested at a very good price. This is the morning after the cut, with nothing but a brush run through it. You bet I will drive 45 minutes to get him to do my hair the next time I need a cut.

Positive: Communication, Professionalism, QualityI had such an amazing expirience today while getting my nails done. It was a little confusing finding the entrance to the salon (for reference, it’s on the 2nd floor and straight to the right out of the elevator) but everything about the salon was great! Will definitely be going back for all of my salon and spa needs! 🙂

I’ve been going here for a long time now, and all the services I’ve had are never below my expectations. The owner is almost always there, and is personable, funny and very skilled at what she does. Her employees are passionate about what they do and create lasting relationships with their regular customers. They use all the best professional salon style brands and make sure you are the number one priority. The prices are very reasonable and the aesthetic atmosphere makes you feel pampered and good about what you’re spending.

I was worried about going to a new salon but I wanted to get to know these wonderful people a little better. I had a house full of people coming over and I was in desperate need of a hair cut and corrective color. Not only was the stylist fast, fun and talented, she also gave me the best haircut and color and highlights I’ve ever gotten. Unfortunately, I can’t remember her name. My significant other scheduled a consultation and saw her stylist. She had to reschedule her first appointment due to personal conflicts. Upon arriving to her rescheduled appointment, an hour early as they said they could take her, she was told this would take longer that anticipated and they would be unable to honor the appointment they scheduled for her. This is after a consultation to see what would need to be done to her hair and a haircut that considerably reduced the length of her hair. We’ve heard great things about their color but this was wholly unprofessional. Will steer clear and make sure others are aware of this incompetence.

Told me they had an opening at 2:45 (and hour and 15 minutes before close) and then I heard her talk to someone and said they can’t do the appointment anymore. Seemed like they just didn’t want to take a client that close to the end of the day. You must not be very good at your job and I don’t think you should be in business if you can’t do a mens cut in under an hour…

I had a facial and massage, those were both AMAZING. I felt wonderful after I left. I also got a manicure, which was not good at all. I noticed that the nail polish was all over my fingers and did not look professional at all. I didn’t want to point out those minor flaws cause my day was otherwise incredible. Thanks ladies!

I went to get a pedicure and and I’m only giving this a 3 star because of the nice ambiance and how great the staff is. First, I was a new client and I was not given nor explained the options or different prices of a pedi. I had to asked. I was very disappointed with the finished product. My cuticles was not thoroughly cleaned for debris. My toenail polish was done very poorly. It was polish left on the side of my toes. After paying $40 and a tip, I expected better results.
