Today is my daughters birthday in Heaven. I woke up this morning, a day that I dread every year with one less worry, my hair. It sounds superficial but I’ve always been self conscious about my short, dry, dead hair. Suffering from depression and anxiety already, there are days that just showering was the chore of the century for me. This year I decided to make a change in hopes that it will make me feel pretty and take one less stress of self hate off my plate (especially in the most difficult month of the year for me). Monday this week I went to someone that I thought I trusted, my hair came out horrible. I went back the next day to have her “fix” it but still, I felt worse than ever. Later on Tuesday I went to intertwined after texting with them, letting them know what had happened. I made an appointment for a couple weeks from now. The stars aligned and at 10pm that day they texted me and let me know there was a cancellation for the next day! I somehow managed to get in with Reggie who not only was a magician but was also so much fun to be around during my appointment. Now I just had to wait for an appointment for my extensions. Another cancelation and I had an appointment Friday with Kayla who was also a magician and wonderful person to spend 3 hours with! When I walked in the door each of those two days, they knew instantly who I was and what I was doing with my hair. They didn’t ask for my name or who I was seeing, they just knew. All the owners are beautiful, kind, friendly and you can feel their passion to make women feel their best. Despite the salon being busy, they all made me feel like I was the only one there. So today, on a day that I dread waking up to every year, I woke up with something to look forward to. I am excited to put on a cute outfit and curl my beautiful long hair. Normally on my daughters birthday, I lay in bed, wondering what kind of person she would have been, what we would be doing to celebrate her birthday, feeling sad and even wondering what the purpose of life is. Today though, I will get dressed, fix my cute hair, put on makeup and keep my daughters memory in my heart as I enjoy time with my family without feeling self conscious, depressed and with an overwhelming sense of self hatred. Carrie, Hallie, Reggie, Kayla and everyone else at the salon, Thank You! Thank you for bringing me back to life. Thank you for making me feel pretty, loved and happy! You have a customer for life! Keep up the amazing work in your beautiful salon!

So far so impressed, my stylist used these extensions after I had used another brand made out of Utah & had a pretty bad experience (washed out, shrunk, all around bad quality) & these are the total opposite. I’ve had for 3 months now & they are like new. Love, love, love so far

The best of the best right here!!!! I’ve had extensions for years & years & have never been able to find a company that can get me the perfect hair color blend & then I found Intertwined! I love that they sell their extensions row by row so you can create your perfect color & the quality is UNREAL. These girls are the best- I love coming in & seeing them.
