My last hair cut was at the beginning of Pandemic (March 2020). It had grown longer than I ever had it, over shoulder length. I could no longer stand it. I was immediately impressed with this business. The facility was well kept and even had separate rooms for haircuts. One cutting room even had a window to provide a view out to the waiting room. I had called ahead to verify their hours, they said someone would be there, even though they were closing in an hour. I tried my best to arrive there with a half hour to spare, but was delayed. I finally arrived with just ten minutes to closing. I was delighted to be warmly greeted by Miss Flora, whom was wearing a mask. She said she had forty years experience, and I believe it. She took the time to listened to my request and provided me with an excellent haircut, at a reasonable price. It’s rare to find such good service these days. I couldn’t of been more satisfied. If you’re looking to support small businesses, you can’t go wrong going here. Thank you Miss Flora, I will be back on a regular basis and will recommend you to everyone I can.

Cute shop! Very clean! She is super nice! Able to get us in right away with no waiting! She did an amazing job on my daughter and my hair! We are so happy we went to her! Treated our hair like it was an artwork and showed she cared! Definitely recommend anyone to come here!

Flor is an awesome stylist! I came back in town to Des Moines for a day and was pretty shaggy looking and wanted some place local to go. I found International Haircuts and read awesome reviews and they weren’t wrong! I had a great experience and Flor was very nice and precise, you can tell she has years of experience! 10/10 would recommend giving he shop a try! I’ll definitely go back again!

After months of “pandemic hair” I’m so glad I went today!!! I honestly got the best haircut I’ve EVER had. She did an incredible job and I’ve already been recommending her to my friends and family. I will always entrust her with my hair in the future. Also, they are very honest too. She thought the tip I gave her was too much so she came outside to make sure I didn’t make a mistake. She did an incredible job and I’ve already been recommending her to my friends and family. I will always entrust her with my hair in the future. Also, they are very honest too. Awesome! I went because it was close to home and still open when i got off if my long bus ride from work but I’d never been, just needed my hair cut. The woman was a latina that spoke great English. I didn’t even know that i was going to a Latina for a hair cut, i usually prefer latino salons because the work is immaculate and precise but the cost is the average. I’m this situation however, i was blessed with a very good haircut. Quite the hidden treasure for a guy that lives in the neighborhood but ends up having to gamble with the stylist at the big chain salons. Definitely check it out, you will certainly be impressed.
