Also, she said that I “didn’t need a cut” when I asked for one even thorough a cut was included with the color package. She also cut my husbands hair like a mushroom. I saw Paul for a much needed trim. I was on a lunch break and he made sure to acknowledge the time I needed to get back but did not rush the haircut. He did a wonderful job! I will be going back!

I too was worried about going to a new salon but when I called my regular salon that I practically have to use I got really aggravated because the person who answered the phone asked who could do it you could hear people complaining so I just said forget about it. I googled places in Pikeville and found Intensity. I called and whoever answered the phone asked if someone could do a cut and color at 5, she told me my stylist would be Stephanie. When my husband and I walked in we were greeted with a smile and not a face that said you made me stay late. When I got in the chair and told her how I wanted it done, she took out her cell phone and showed me pictures of “real” people with similar hair and asked me how long it had been since the last color or cut was done; how I wanted to wear it, etc. and this kind of shocked me because no one has ever done that. I always got pretty much what the stylist wanted and if you complain they will jack your hair up. Stephanie took her time and never answered a cell phone. I’ve had that done to me several times during an appointment. She darkened my eyebrows and usually other stylists tell me they would have to charge for another color appointment. What really shocked me was after she rinsed my hair, she put a towel around it and then put a lotion or something on her hands and massaged all around my hair line and my neck for a little while. That was great. My color turned out beautiful and the cut is amazing!!!! My mom passed away a few months ago just 3 days before her 68th birthday and my sister passed away at the age of 45. They both had extremely thin hair and I am 45 and mine is starting to thin out quickly. Stephanie done my cut in a way that makes it look so much thicker and fuller but it does not feel heavy at all. Stephanie, you a are one in a million stylist and with as much as you pay your full attention to detail, I know you will be a great Mom. Hope to have you do my hair for as long as you can. You and your coworkers need to put some pictures and list some of the things you offer besides hair care. Oh, forgot to mention the great prices. You will surely get you moneys worth.
