I scheduled an appointment for lash removal via the online booking tool; provided credit card information to reserve the appointment and completed all of the required health and waiver forms. Additionally, I sent a text (the preferred method of communication as written on the website) the morning after scheduling to share what was going on with the current extensions that were applied to my lashes and to inquire about the possibility of an earlier appointment, in the event of a cancellation. The business owner (Molly) never responded or acknowledged my attempts to reach her. Instead, she cancelled my appointment with no explanation. After receiving the cancellation notice via email, I called because I did not understand if it was done in error or if the forms weren’t completed properly. My call went straight to voicemail. I reviewed my text to see if it read offensively, but all I wrote was benign information about my current extensions. I have no way of knowing what the issue was due to lack of communication. If a potential client is penalized with cancelled appointments for trying to communicate with this business owner, then she sent a very clear message NOT TO PATRONIZE HER ESTABLISHMENT and to continue my search for a professional lash artist who is courteous to consumers.
