I really enjoyed my experience here and the ladies that helped me with my hair and makeup. I got my hair trimmed, styled and makeup done for a wedding that day. The ladies were very kind and we had some good laughs. I got my hair curled and a halo braid style.

I called several times, on several different days and the phone was never answered. So, I went into the salon to make an appointment. I stood at the desk for five minutes and no one came to assist me. I could hear someone in the back office and yet no help cane. I left disappointed and without an appointment.

Had a very nice first visit to InStyle. Booked a partial foil add low lights and haircut plus a brow wax. I was the first appt of the day and unfortunately the hair tech forgot to turn on the wax pot so I had to make due with a few plucks and a snip or two to even out the brows . I was disappointed that my gal did not use shampoo/ conditioner for blonde tones or colored hair….just the same product for every customer. So, how did my hair turn out? Too yellow/ gold and highlights not pulled thru nor were chunky enough for my taste. On the flip side….this is why I will return- the hair tech was a sweetheart and never worked on my tough head of lochs before. I’ll lobby for 40 volume peroxide next time. Her actual foiling “technique” was stellar and I know if I am clear with my desires things can only get better. It’s a great atmosphere….comfortable shampoo bowls, fun music and employees have very engaging personalities. Great talent = Very good value. Nice selection of products and brand lines. Convenient hours and accessible location. Changing hair professionals is like getting a divorce….it is HARD! InStyle was an adventurous and fairly smooth transition.

My favorite salon in town! Kelsey Fredrickson does the best hair and eyelash extensions!! I’ve also been to other ladies too before Kelsey and they all do great work.

I called to see if they were available for my wedding in November (which is a little over 6 months away). I gave them my information and they said it would be a week or so to let me know if they could do it. I waited two weeks, and still didn’t hear anything from them. I finally called and they told me November was too far away for their stylists to commit. They couldn’t give me a better time frame for when it would be appropriate to try and book, and they also didn’t give me a reason why they couldn’t call me back sooner to tell me this! That’s poor client service. All it would have taken was a simple phone call to give me an update and I wouldn’t have felt the need to leave a 1 star review.
