On top of getting medication that just did not work for me, they are horrible at time management and scheduling. Had to wait 30 minutes past being on time to my scheduled appointment for the dermatologist to come. Even then, he basically provided no input. Waited an extra 30 minutes for a 15 minute long appointment.

I saw the doctor after having been seen by someone else, somewhere else. This doctor listened carefully, took pictures of the problem area and could not have been nicer or more professional. He froze and biopsied all that needed intervention.

I had an 8:30 a.m. appointment at the Wilmington office for a new patient visit. I arrived on time, checked in and sat down. I watched a steady stream of patients arrive and depart. After waiting 30 minutes, I went to the front desk and asked when I would be seen. I was told by the receptionist I “should” be next. I waited another 10 minutes, went up to the front desk again and told the receptionist a 40 minute wait was excessive and requested my co-pay be refunded. There was no response, no explanation for the 40 minute wait, I wasn’t even given an apology before leaving. It is inexcusable to arrive for an 8:30 a.m. appointment and sit for 40 minutes in the waiting room. If I had continued to wait, who knows how long it would have been before I was called back to the exam room. Would I have waited in there too? I would give zero stars, if I could. A total waste of my time, unprofessional and disrespectful. I would not recommend this Dermatologist.

I did not have good experiences with this office. I only saw Dr. Minh Thieu because that’s what my insurance would cover, it wouldn’t cover the male doc which is her brother. My appointment was the first appt of the day, I made it super early so I didn’t have to be too late for work. I waited over 30 something minutes for her to come see me. I had to come out of the exam room and question what was taking so long when I was the only person there that early. She came in after I complained, never apologized and had poor bedside manners. My appt took all of 5 minutes. I also had a follow up telemed appt with her which was about 3 to 5 minutes for a $60 copay. I wish my insurance covered seeing her brother because I’ve heard nothing but good things about him. Idk what her problem is but I don’t care for her and currently looking for another dermatologist.

My husband and I cannot speak more highly of Dr. khanh Thieu. He does a very thorough body scan and takes his time evaluating his patients. I was very disappointed though by my recent visit with Dr. Minh Thieu. I waited 45 minutes to see her, she barely scanned me, and maybe spent a total of 3 minutes with me. I left that appointment feeling as though it was a waste of my time and a $50 copay. In the future, I will be returning to Dr. Khanh Thieu.

I’ve had bad experiences with dermatologists in the past so I wasn’t thrilled when my regular doctor told me I should go for a yearly exam. They recommended Dr Thieu and I’m glad I went! The office is very nice, modern and clean. My wait was very short. Dr. Thieu was very thorough. He answered all of my questions and concerns.

Poor scheduling and time management. I had to wait an hour past my appointment time the first time I visited before I left and reschedule. When I came back I decided to wait only 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time before I cancelled and left.

My experience was bad, I did not expect this kind of professionalism from this office having so much good reviews. When I visited I was told that I will be seen soon, then after waiting 20 min I just thought to ask and receptionist mentioned that it will take 30 more minutes which is OK it does happen sometime but they should have let me know beforehand so that I could have planned accordingly and may be setup some other time. Is it a good thing to let somebody wait for an hour without letting him/her know beforehand? Just waste of time and headache.

I had a horrible breakout of hormonal acne as well as some kind of allergic reaction that caused my eyes to swell up at night and a red rash to form around them. This quack proceeded to tell me there was nothing they could do about the acne. As for the allergy situation , all he did was ask if I had changed any products I had been using recently (which I hadn’t ) and advised me not to wear makeup for the next few days. Seriously? I’m in his office crying and desperate and he just stared at me. No advise. I had to barrage him with questions to figure out if I should be taking antihistamines, what products I should avoid, if I should use a different cleanser for the time being, etc. He proceeded to take a tear-off form with various products listed on them and pointed to one- neutrogena foaming cleanser. This form he could give to anyone had no room for personalization. I felt like he didn’t care at all and received no real information in a time of need. Waste of a copay. Go somewhere where the doctor actually cares.
