This nail salon is amazing. This is the first place I’ve been where my nails actually last a full month. The staff are wonderful and super friendly. Most of my visits have been as a walk in and I never feel like they’ve rushed me through.

The lady who did my nails was not very friendly and didn’t say anything to me besides asking what shape I wanted. That’s fine and I don’t expect a full conversation but a nice “how are you today” would’ve been nice. Then, I showed her an image of the design I wanted and it isn’t even remotely close to what I showed her. One of my nails is crooked and is pointing a different direction than my finger. I’ll add images of what I asked for and what I received. She also didn’t make the french tip far down enough to cover my natural nail lines. Overall, the nails are not what I asked for, are crooked, and are super thick.

I went for a gel manicure Thursday evening. I gave the one star because the place itself was really nice, appealing and relaxing. However unfortunately I was disappointed with my nails. They looked great that night and the next day. But by Saturday, the gel started peeling off of my nails! I tried to ignore it but hair would get caught under it and they only got worse! I was hoping they would at least last a week! But I only made it to day 5 until the peeling bothered me so much that I decided to just take them off. (They came off in one piece very easily) Just a little disappointed and frustrated that the quality was not there.

I get to the salon & the lady who did my nails was so rude & hateful because I didn’t have an appointment. She was so rough with my nails that she made one of them bleed. She was rushing & just making a mess out of my nails. After she was finished, I looked down at my nails & they were AWFUL. I wanted a gloss look & my nails turned out matte, she even got the paint all over my fingers. Save your money & go somewhere else folks! I get to the salon & the lady who did my nails was so rude & hateful because I didn’t have an appointment. She was so rough with my nails that she made one of them bleed. I called around to a few places that I found on google so I could go get a quick manicure while my son was at wrestling practice. I never get my nails done so I wasn’t sure if I needed an appointment. I called 5 places that didn’t pick up before I called innovation nails. The nice lady on the phone said “just come on in!” So I went and when I got there, I got such a pleasant greeting from her and she remembered me from the phone. The salon is super pretty and very clean as well. She set me up with a nail tech named Cece and she was EXCELLENT! So kind, did a great job and got it done quickly. I’m so glad none of the other salons picked up the phone when I called because otherwise I wouldn’t have ended up here! It’s now my favorite and any time I’m in Salem, I’m coming in to get my nails done by Cece!

I made an appointment and still had to wait an hour before I was moved to a chair. I was rushed and there were multiple other clients complaining about the wait and saying that they had also made appointments ahead of time. My nails look like they were rushed as well with uneven lines, color and splotches on the undersides. I asked multiple times for an almond/ not round shape but I just kept being told that they’d get to it later, which never happened. My appointment was for a pedicure as well but I cancelled it after I saw the state of my nails. I’ll never come back to this spa again and I’ll tell anyone in the area to avoid them at all cost.

I honestly wouldn’t even give this place 1 star. Came in for a full set they weren’t even close to what I wanted when I’d try to explain it felt like an argument the lady was EXTREMELY rude. My toes look absolutely awful, they looked better before I came in. It does not look like I had a pedicure my toe nail shape was beautiful before she cut the uneven and filed them carelessly when I tried to get them fixed it seemed I was inconveniencing her. My nails aren’t even, there is streaks in them, extra stuff under my nails and the sides. I could go on and on. I know you won’t always get exactly what you want but the nail salon should never be a stressful experience as this was nothing but between the quality and customer service not only I but my friend received as well. Her nails look awful between the shape and sizes that she tried to get fixed numerous times as well. Her toenails look dull and there are parts that weren’t completely painted. We were tired of bringing things to their attention due to the attitude we would receive back and then they’d clearly start talking about us in another language. The entire experience was disappointing, frustrating and uncomfortable. We left extremely upset. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. GO TO TONYS!
