Ashley is the absolute best massage therapist I have ever been to. Her quiet, calming presence puts you at ease immediately. She is clearly trained professionally and is so knowledgeable about which areas need more work, etc. I have received three massages from her so far and plan to be back! All three were done during my pregnancy and helped me immensely! After each massage, I would call my husband, on cloud 9, telling him how she is worth her weight in gold! Her touch is so smooth and gentle, but she’s so great about being firm where you need it! She has such a knack for knowing how to position pregnant women to be in the most comfortable positions during the massage too. When I was three days “past due,” I saw Ashley. I went in, almost in tears and just tense & sad. She quietly went to work, doing her belly massage and full body massage. She had me in a trance within minutes. I felt SO relaxed! Well, 2 hours after floating out of her office, I had my beautiful baby in my arms This woman is incredible! I can’t say enough about her. Don’t even hesitate for a minute about booking her. Her office is also so calming, smells great, and is the perfect temperature all the time. She knows how to make you feel supported, relaxed, and utterly pampered. Thanks, Ashley, for helping me relax after some of the toughest weeks of my pregnancy!

Ashley came highly recommended on Facebook so I booked an appointment with her for each trimester. I started with a 60 minute massage and worked up to a 80 minute. In my third trimester she included a Mayan Belly massage which was incredible! My growing belly needed some love. After the baby was born I went back to her and had a 80 min massage and facial. She’s incredibly talented and has so many techniques to make you feel pampered and taken care of. She takes the time to make you feel comfortable before, during and after the appointment. She would always make sure I had enough pillows. I highly recommend her! I included a Pic of the massage table in her studio with a beautiful view of monterey. Clean and inviting place. I LOVE it!!!

I had never heard of a doula before I became pregnant and now I would recommend one to everyone and plan to ask Ashley to be present for any other future pregnancy and birth. Ashley was essential to the mental and physical preparation before pregnancy and I attribute the quick turn around of my labor to her keen and perceptive eye. Watching over us from start to finish, our doula Ashley could track our progress and map it to her multitude of experiences in the birthing room. Nurses, midwifes and doctors have to change shifts and split attention between rooms and laboring processes. There is nothing more reassuring and so beneficial to the act of labor than having Ashley’s constant presence and coaching. My husband and I needed her. Ashley’s aid was delivered completely unobtrusively with great finesse. Her assistance extended far beyond ourselves as she cared for a weeping mother in law outside the birth room and most essentially tracked down the midwife at the key moment of transition with a firm conviction that my baby was on his way and I was her next top priority. We are so grateful to have had her as a prenatal, birth and postpartum coach. Furthermore, Ashley’s qualifications as a massage therapist of the highest caliber should most definitely be taken advantage of. Work with Ashley and you will have a doula who truly cares for and is attuned to your mind, body, soul, couple and new or extended family!
