My daughter treated me to a spa day at Indio Spa for my birthday. It was my first time there. The employees were very hospitable. My masseuse and esthetician were knowledgeable, professional, and made my experience enjoyable. My only complaint is with the facility. It was a cross between a gift shop and spa. The front desk where you check is overcrowded with all kinds of “stuff.” It did not have that clean, crisp look or eucalyptus fragrance that says, “Welcome, Relax, Exhale” when you open the door. The employees were wonderful. I think management needs to redo the environment m.

The staff is very nice however, I was VERY taken aback by having to lay under a towel for a massage !? My feet & hands stayed cold because of minimum coverage,which takes away relaxation ! For what you pay you would expect the normal top sheet & at least a cotton blanket .

This was my first time there. I had the top facial for anti aging. It was 90 min facial. I was disappointed at the atmosphere, but more so with the facial. It was $150. I laid there as 4 masked were applied. I had to wait for each mask to dry before the next one was applied. The wait was long…But I thought while waiting why isn’t my hands getting massaged or my feet?? There wasn’t any décolleté application or anything done. 90 minutes and $150 is a long time and expensive to have four mask applied and that was all. My skin looked ok but I have had so much better.

Went here with some friends for a girls trip. The staff is very nice and welcoming when you come in and the place is very cute. However, I was called back for my scrub which was supposed to be a half hour long but instead was just slabbed on and only took about 5 minutes. I then was walked to the shower and was asked if I was good friends with the group I came with. I said yes and then Was brought into another massage room with a shower in the corner. My friend and the therapist she was with left but then came back in the room while I was in the shower. I was never asked if I felt comfortable with that.

Had an absolutely amazing facial today with Asia… Her hands are like magic and I wish I had booked the facial earlier in my trip so I could have come back for a massage by her as well! If you’re staying at the resort, a facial by Asia is a must!

All I had time for was a one-hour deep tissue massage, and it was the best thing I did all week. Daniel was my therapist, and he is magic.He has a knowledgeable, caring and healing presence. I hope he’s there every time I go back.
