Indigo Loft Salon is an amazing place to get your hair pampered. From when you first walk in and get greeted by the receptionist to being offered coffee, tea, water or snacks to a relaxing short wait in their stylish reception area. I’ve been coming to this salon and seeing Surita for the last couple of years. After many failed attempts of trying salons around the area when I moved to Syracuse, a friend of mine recommend Surita. She always knocks it out of the park for me. Services are always on time, communication is excellent, and prices are about right for what you’re getting. I get so many compliments on my hair from friends and at work. I highly recommend Surita and Indago Loft Salon.

All of the stylists are so friendly and helpful – I am not at all creative and Micaela always does a great job of taking my very basic ideas and making them look stunning. I get my hair bleached…silver, and she’s managed to keep the integrity of my hair for two years. She takes great care to listen to my wants, and I also trust her to do pretty much whatever she wants to my hair because she’s that good.

The parking was tricky as I could only find a 2 hour parking spot on the street and my appointment went over that time frame so I was worried I would get ticketed, luckily I was okay. Anyways….upon entering the salon I was warmly greeted by the receptionist and a male staff member. I didn’t have to wait long at all! Micaela came by and ushered me to her chair and we discussed what I wanted to get done (highlights and a trim). Micaela was an absolute star!! She brought my hair to life. It was a long process because I have dark, thick hair which she had to bleach and tone, but it was so worth it. I definitely felt like a rock star after leaving that place. The parking was tricky as I could only find a 2 hour parking spot on the street and my appointment went over that time frame so I was worried I would get ticketed, luckily I was okay. Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueNo, no, no ! 170K!This was my worst experience ever! I am in my twenties, went for a special perm on my long hair in the recent past. I had pictures, questions, long discussions after doing my research, everything prior to the procedure.According to my stylist, Jackie, I had! healthy, thick, long hair, which got … totally destroyed!! Not that it was completely fried,like my hair is literally dead, I did not have a single wave in my hair at the end. (Also, it was so low effort that she did not even blow-dry it? in wintertime, but started to cut the fried ends off after a perm)Not to mention my hilarious hair-cut, which I had to finish for myself but at least it is not permanent. Moreover, I am having spots where I am missing my hair, cannot untangle it only when wet, so dry that I have to wash it everyday just to detangle it, it brakes into my hands!!, and on and on. I guess it will need at least 5-6 years to be regenerated aka re-grow! (I most certainly have to change to short hair very soon.)The worst part is that I called them for some advice, then for a refund (would be the very least minimum for such a damage with some offered repair procedure) in a very positive tone, and they were ‘ busy to talk” and telling me that it was the fault of my hair (it was demi-colored 8 months ago, was completely washed out at that point, and I mentioned it prior to, not that it should matter this much on my ‘healthy looking hair’)! then promised to call me back,twice, which has never happened!And they asked 170$ for the thing, which I – being in a shock- unfortunately, paid.!!!Not recommended! The only professional thing about the salon is their advertisement.
