I went here to get cornrows.I have type 3c hair, medium porosity, thick density and fine hair strand (The Andre Walker Hair Typing System). I also have a sensitive scalp and lots of questions.My hairstylist, Tanya, was very knowledgeable and was accepting of my questioning about hair care and products and answered as many questions as she could. She was gentle with my hair and styled it to my preference. I’m pleased with the results.I’m finally done salon shopping. This place was easy to find. The cherry on the top is that Diane, the salon owner, makes her own line of hair care products. My hair is at her healthiest since coming to Diane 4 years ago. She took the time to understand my hair needs. She started my locs and they are growing strong and healthy. Also Diane makes the best oils for your hair. Purchase a bottle your hair and scalp will thank you later. Plus the entire staff is amazing and skillful too.

Bree was the very best. I had not retwisted my hair in about 4 months but she was so gentle it didn’t hurt at all (I am tender headed). She is highly skilled, knowledgeable and pleasant. If you’re around and need your locs done you should really visit this store especially if you are tender headed

I was going to try to come in today but I only trust diane. Shes the owner her styles are always 100% on point. When a previous stylist took 4 hours to do 3 braids and left. Diane took them out and did it over. Quick and precise because i was already in pain. So if i have any style done I wouldnt want it by anyone else. But I was told she only does certain styles and the faux locs i want someone else would do. I wouldnt even trust them for real. If you do call be very direct about who you would like and ask if theyre available because theyll have you come in for a consult but the person might not be available or may not do the style you want.

I came here 2x now, and both times were very welcoming, and relaxing. The first time I received service from Ms. Diane I needed major emergency relief from a current style from before. I was pregnant n just days away fr popping. When I say she revived my hair and put the .picture it truly needed back in it, and worked her magic with a beautiful style after w arms I was very very happy. This second go round I’m dying my hair. The process was quick and thorough and I never felt more relaxed. Stylists are kind and respectful and informative on almost all your questions. The hands here are very gentle, and for it to be a quiet shop it has good life. I would recommend anyone with natural hair, locs, or that may be stuck in their hair journey to come here.

I was impressed with the customer service,decor, the helpful advice on repairing my locks. I literally laughed and had great conversation it felt like family in there.
