I went to this salon only because my normal salon was under construction. I got a wash and set. I realized my hair wasn’t lathering as it should, at one point I even reached back to feel my hair. Ok then time to get it blown out. My hair is course and stringy. My hair is natural mixed with Indian . I was satisfied with the straightness . Paid $78 !!!! I’m like for whatttt!????? Anyways fast forward to a few days later….my hair is still straight ! I braid it down for a wig and wore the wig for about two weeks. Today I take out the braids and my hair is still straight. Normally after all of my sweat my hair curls back instantly. I wash my hair, there’s curls but not my normal curls and there are patches of straight hair. The texture of my hair has been stripped, it is not it’s normal silky shine it has. I immediately got to them with my hair wet to show them and OFOUCRSE they deny everything. I demanded samples of what they used on my hair and I will be testing their products for chemicals. Also I will be reporting them. I worked hard for my healthy natural hair and one wash and set messed it all up ! I am highly upset!

When ever I want a nice tight weave for a great price I come to impressions. They can make any hair bone straight. I have natural 3C/4a hair and I wanted a full head weave with minimal leave out , cut shoulder length. It came out so nice , she did leave more then expected out but it was not terrible. I love my hair and I know it is going to last me some time.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueHorrible experience. I only decided to go here because they open at 8:30. My Dominican Hair Salon on Rockaway opens at 10am and I had a very busy day so I thought let mee give them the business as I have patronized them in the past when I’m in a rush. I called b4 going to ask how much to color my hair. The girl said $65 I said ok as that is what I pay on Rockaway as well as I dyed my hair here maybe 2 years ago and they also charged me $65. First of all they took a very long time prepping mee but I must admit I enjoyed the hair washed from the girl. However when they were finally done the girl at front desk charged me $150 I was like no the girl told me $65. She was so rude and nasty and screamed and said HOW CAN I CHARGE YOU $65. I said your sign even says $65. I called the girl that I spoke to on the phone and I said u told mee $65. She claims she said $65 and up. But if that was the case why not tell mee oh your hair is $150. Worst experience ever. I honestly should have waited for my salon to open. I would never go here ever again because they are liars and robbers. My Dominican Hair Salon on Rockaway opens at 10am and I had a very busy day so I thought let mee give them the business as I have patronized them in the past when I’m in a rush. This place does not I repeat does not know how to deal with natural hair African American hair to be exact. I got my hair done by the lady close to the window the 3rd seat when she was putting my conditioner in my hair she went to the back and got something and added it to my hair I ask her what it was she said it’s conditioner to only find out it was some kind of straightener but now my natural hair won’t revert back it’s straight as hell .. I plan to sue this company they violated my rights I’m so mad if you can’t handle black people hair then get out of our neighborhood! Don’t try to ruin us !

I got a wash and set, ends trimmed. I loved the outcome, only thing is I don’t like my hair blow dried and she insisted. But I draw the line with the flat iron. As you can see, she got the roots good but I have volume. For those of you that like flat ironed hair she’ll do it for you.

I like them! I go every week faithfully… I usually only let Karen do my hair because I’m the type to only stick with one person but I let another lady do my hair and she did a great job! The women that wash my hair always message my hair while washing and I always walk out feeling beautiful and my hair always look great!!
